Right I'll kick it off this week, not much being said so far Tough tough course, smart golf for the 4 rounds is the way. I shot -2 -4 -6 -4 for total : -16 I think -20 plus will win it this week, I seen somewhere else prediction -30, no chance of that. Rd 1 was cruising at -5 till the 17th & ended up in the drink, Double bogey & then bogey on 18th, dropping 3 shots on last 2 holes was a killer!! Round 2 for me was the most difficult, Big difference in course conditions than previous 2 weeks. Best of luck to all webbers

Don't be fooled, I always think this,, then few guys come out at perform the impossible. But yes very tough. Im -2 and +1 for my first 2 rounds, and sounds goofy but will probably be enough to make cut I would think. about to play 3 and 4 now. What a course!!!

Well gentlemen, after two weeks of playing lackluster golf where I didn't even make it into the weekend, I was glad to move to hotter temperatures in Mexico! My father would always tell me, "it's hot in the desert, only drink water". He was a wise man, oh he was.
But when I got there. I forgot his advice. This course is scary. The bartender offered me a brand new sealed wine barrell from 1995 and I couldn't resist; I was scared as a little girl just looking at the course.
First round went incredibly smooth, there was a lot of wind but with practice last week, it was manageable. I played 65 (-6)
The second round was a little tougher, I didn't drive the ball as good as the previous day. The highlight of the round was defninitely a chip-in eagle at par 4 12th, after a 350 yars drive. Ended up finishing 67 (-4), after my second shot at Par 3 17th hit the pin and went all the way down 68 feet to stop on the fringe.
So my total is -10 after two rounds. I am confident it will make the cut, the course is very tough, but I went in with one goal in mind: to hit the fairways. It's the key.
Have a good week,
Lino.

Terrible play equals, time to regroup and start later.
Was it just me or does pretty much every green slope front to back?? well at least it seemed that way to me..LOL like no matter if I tried to play the ball WAY short on the approach or lofted a club up real high, It would hit and shoot off the back of the green like a bottle rocket....
I cussed, spit, smiled a time or two, cussed some more, rage quit, not once, not twice, but four times...
I may try again soon

Wow...after seeing Tony and Gabe scoring I'm really curious about this - and despite my growing dislike for Canuck's tourney setups (I think they're "artificially" tricked up beyond the sweet spot where a great and conscious designer should stop) I'm gonna play this """for fun""" tomorrow with my WEB-buddy. He'll more than likely miss the cut here anyways Can someone gave me some hints about the winds in R1 and R2?

It's a course that needs a lot of practice, which I didn't give it. Tons of elevation changes. It's a real challenge but I really liked the course,BUT,without a good deal of practice it's going to catch people out big time, and even with practice it still will

I hit +4 first round but I am playing poorly atm... hate crazy cannuck courses Just played my first two round with -2 then +5 for a +3 and likely missed cut. It's not his courses I hate. This one is spectacular. It's his greens and pin positions I hate. I had much more fun with Killarney's greens even though there was much more red on them.

About the winds: In the first round, a lot of my drives were under 14-15 MPH winds. For the rest, it varied throughout the week from 2mph to 10mph.
I played my weekend rounds this morning. While I was playing, I thought the name of the course really fits it; The Nomad, you go out there and try to survive.
3rd round: I hit a lot of poor shots, mostly tee-shots which then gave me a lot of trouble for my second shots. At some point, I think near 14-15th, I was +4 but I managed to birdie a few holes in a row to finish at even (71).
4th round: The pins were extremely difficult on the Sunday setup, so just to get the ball on the green was a good result. Tried to stay in the alleys and not make any stupid mistakes and I've managed to extract a -3 (68) from these barren lands.
65 - 67 - 71 - 68 = -13 Total. I am pleased with my result because it was a tough course. Good luck everybody,
Lino.

On the first round I played maybe the best round on the web.com Tour in my career so far. Almost everything worked... I was at -9 before the 17th hole. And then a 90% Drive into the water. Next one way too long and also two stupid putting mistakes. So I finished R1 at -6
Second round was almost the same. Not that good but I was really happy with my -5. Before hole 17 of course... I failed and on the 18th again. So finished with a -2. Arrgrghhg.
-8 after the first two rounds should make the cut this week. I'm looking forward to the last two rounds. Maybe this time concentrated til the end :-P
Good luck to all of you!

Really struggling with this course. Is anyone else getting weird lag swings on the ps4....I am holding back on the stick and it starts the backswing and stops straight away. It can take 6 or 7 swings before I can actually take a shot most of the time so hard to get a rythem.
-1 in the first round followed by a -6 in the second round. Greens feel weird, firm but not that fast...my brain can't compute lol.

Course belongs on PGA. I liked the look of it, just not the play-ability. Greens were small and firm. Not my style.

This course looks fantastic and it plays well until you approach the green. I don't have a problem with difficult pin positions but I do have a problem with greens which don't hold at all. On my practice round there were a good number of approach shots which ran off the back off the green even though I lofted up, landed on the front of the green and aimed for the longest part of the green. I also had a putt from an upper tier which I hit as soft as I possibly could but it still ended up rolling off the green. I know how difficult it is to make a course play hard but for me this is purely frustrating. I've only played Thursday but I suspect all 4 days will be similar. Without these issues the course could have been one of the best on tour by far.
I hope this doesn't sound like a rant, I am trying to give constructive criticism. There's nothing bitter here as I've not actually start my rounds.
