Calm conditions again guys. Web Wind this week on average. Rd1(6.7mph) Rd2(9.9mph) Rd3(6.1mph) Rd4(7.5mph). It's set in the autumn theme that's supposed to be windy aswell. Go figure. Wow, you get access to the average wind across the rounds? Pretty cool.

That's some dedication. I think you've reached a new level of geekdom, Luke

This will be another missed cut for me. Round 2 was ridiculous. Putts refused to drop. Felt robbed of birdies at least 4 times. I swear, on my screen the putts were half ball inside the cup but they didn't drop. Good luck to everyone. Well I didn't fare much better mate. Blitzed all four rounds after work today and -18 at the half way point. Didn't feel I played well and poor approach shots cost me.. Played last two rounds regardless of what cut line may be and scored -9 and -2 (not good enough). Last round was tough with fast and firm greens. Will gladly forget about this one and look forward to next week.

My putting is atrocious. Not sure if it's because I play on low detail for my pc or not because I have a tough time reading the putting grid. My computer allows me to play 1080p but in low settings. Not a fan of lower resolution but if it helps my putting I may have to knock it down.
I played one round and shot a 63. Played the course perfectly (I think I hit all fairways and GIR) but only sank 2 good putts. I expect low scores for this cut and I hope I make it this time. Kind of upset at myself last tournament because I missed the cut by only 2 strokes but my final 4 rounds would have put me in the mid 30's overall.

What a difference a week makes. After being in contention through 2 rounds last week, I had a complete meltdown on the greens and finished tied for 51st. I practiced each course for this week once and felt like I got some confidence back.
Round 1 62 Round 2 60 Round 3 57
That 3rd round is a personal best for me in TGC Tour play. I started with 10 straight birdies, birdied 3 of the next 7 holes and eagled 18.
In rounds 1 and 2, I played the 18th for birdies - choosing to lay up on the left side fairway so as not to risk running way past the hole (and leaving a 75 foot putt which is hard as hell to lag) or dumping it in a bunker beside that narrow fairway on the right. But in the 3rd round, the wind was just right so I shot for the green and holed a 30 foot eagle.
I'm going to wait on the 4th round. I only practiced it once and shot 72 so I need to take a couple more practice laps before I dive into it.
Good luck everybody!

Is there not a bug that prevents you practising mid tour or am I imagining that?

Going to be an interesting week for me. Decided to play a few True Sim rounds before my Web rounds...and that was fine. Until I got into this week's tournament. First 3 holes...missed putt-par, missed putt-par, 3-putt bogey. SON OF A... SO.... Thankfully I had the right mind to just shut the game down at that point...and I didn't even look at it yesterday. Hoping to sit down and rally some time tomorrow. I didn't practice well on this course...something about the putting doesn't agree with me. Seems like the greens break LESS than they normally do. Whether they do or not I have no idea, I just miss a lot of putts on the high side. If it's meant to be a bad week then so be it, but hoping I didn't doom myself in the first 3 holes here. As always, daunting to see a lot of sub 60 scores put up already in the first 3 rounds. Nice shooting fellas.

Played my rounds early this time as I have a busy week happy enough to make the cut after missing out with -15 last week. I wouldn't be a fan of this course at all and hated the greens, I can't remember the amount of good putts that came up short somehow, have to say R4 is a good test and really enjoyed grinding out a -1 here as nothing seemed easy apart from the tee shot.
R1 61(-11) R2 61(-11) R3 65(-7) R4 71(-1) -30 total

Interesting about the greens, I too thought that sometimes the greens broke less than the grid lines were telling me. I had one put where my eyes (from experience on TST) told me something different to the grids. Obviously I went with the grids and wish after I'd gone with my eyes

There are definitely a few putts that show a lot of break with fast running lines on the grid that barely move at all and a few flat putts that break 6-8". I wouldn't worry about your score too much I was +1 through the first 3 with a similar experience to yourself and I was able to turn it around and post a -11 so there are plenty of chances coming in. I found the opening holes quite hard to birdie this week.
