$13.99 replacement mouse put me back in the game. No more pre-mature putts. No more sub-100% swings. Still the occasional slice, but that's probably my own problem.
Shot -12, -12, -7, -3 last night in practice, I believe.
So I told myself that I would have to at least make cut. Ended up with -10, -12, -8, and a "solid even par" on the challenging fifth pin. If you haven't practiced the 5th pin yet, do so! After shooting my first three rounds, I should have jumped out of the tournament to practice the 5th pin again. The fast and firm setting makes it play completely different from the first 3 rounds.
I was actually kind of hoping that the "5th pin" would be the second round so that we could see the cut line be a lot lower than it has been recently.
Wind is all over the place in two of the rounds. That fourth round had winds well into the double digits for the front 9.
I'm not going to win, but I'll bring home at least a couple hundred bucks this week. Can't complain after a cut-week. I'm just glad to be competitive again!
My predictions:
Winner: -45 Top 5: -39 Top 30: -31 Cut line at -17 after two rounds

Yep pin 5 is tough if you aren't used to playing fast and firm. 62-59-62-70 for -35. Top 30 I reckon this week. There are 55's possible in first two rounds.

This was not my course. I was just having so much difficulty on the greens. The breaks just didn't break and I never adjusted properly. My approaches sucked as the wind gave me issues for some reason. -13 total thru 2. On a positive, that is two less rounds I have to play this week. Oh well, on to TST.

-10, -12, -10, and choke -2 = 34. Fourth round is clearly the make or break of the championship. Tough and fast on last day but the winner probably will be able to muster -8 or so IMO. I would guess the winner will be low 40's. Good luck everybody

This will be another missed cut for me. Round 2 was ridiculous. Putts refused to drop. Felt robbed of birdies at least 4 times. I swear, on my screen the putts were half ball inside the cup but they didn't drop.
Good luck to everyone.

Happened to me a LOT last week in TST....sometimes The Golf Club clearly shows how low funded it is. Total BS

Hit a -41 in total but managed to grind out a -5 R4. Love the different challenge firm and fast provides, bring it on! No feel for what will be good this week, R1-R3 can be destroyed and I have a feeling there will be players in our midst that can rip R4 a new one as well.

I really liked this course. Even though it feels like we are playing the same themes back to back to back here. Kudos to the creator for some interesting site lines and approach shots. Unfortunately I left a giant steaming pile of doo all over it. The details are boring - just missed a ton of putts. -12 after 2 rounds which will certainly be a missed cut.
I think I'm getting worse at putting. I don't know how to get better though. I'm probably less than 50% on putts between 6 and 10 feet and those should almost be automatic at this level. I have no feel any more and will agonize over a 6 footer for over a minute now. No confidence = indecision = pile of doo.
See you guys next week I guess!

Calm conditions again guys. Web Wind this week on average. Rd1(6.7mph) Rd2(9.9mph) Rd3(6.1mph) Rd4(7.5mph). It's set in the autumn theme that's supposed to be windy aswell. Go figure.
