Just played my rounds there now R1 61(-11) R2 61(-11) R3 64(-8) R4 66(-6) -36 total Very happy with my first 2 rounds as they were my lowest scores on this course, frustrating round 3 and 4 though with 16 taking 3 shots off me over the last 2 rounds. Anyway happy enough not sure it will be enough for a top 30 even the way the scoring is. Fair play lads some really low scores out there, best of luck to anyone else yet to play.

One of the more frustrating tournaments for me. -9 -13 -9 -7
Last round could have been solid, but on the 7th? hole (the par 5 where the 2nd shot is over the big lake), had a great drive, followed by a banana hook into the lake. Re-hit, and another banana hook into the lake. Switched controllers and never had another mishit the rest of the round.... ugh
Not exactly building confidence in using my PGA exemption next week...

Finished my tournament last night.. On exemption from CC/A.. I got (-43) -14 -9 -9 -11 I better keep my web card after that score.. Especially after losing last week tourney in a playoff.. If you putt well there should be a very low score out there... Best of luck to my fellow CC/A colleagues..

Congratulations, that is great scoring man, you only have to make the cut to keep your card so you are nailed on for that with your scores. -43 should be top end of the leaderboard, there is definitely a -50 there for someone anyway.

Started with a great round but couldn't recapture that sort of form for my last 3 rounds.
-12 -7 -7 -8
(-34)
Not amazing compared to what others are shooting out there but more than respectable.

What a Leaderboard so far! The standard in Web.com is very high at the moment!

Amazing scores by everyone so far - well played!
I'm here on exemption from CC-A and hoping to make the cut with my -18 after two rounds. I've got a nervy wait I think! Left quite a few shots out there but hoping to get my card to stick around on Web.
All in all my rounds were: -10 -8 -9 -10 -37 total
Could have easily been into the -40s but I left too many putts inches short. I can't remember bogeying a single hole thru 72 holes which was a good feeling but by the time you've left your 5/6 putt short you can't help but get angry lol
Good luck everyone and looking forward to seeing the lowest scores!

Following up from my recent post of 62/62/68 I needed fireworks on round 4!
Unfortunately I ended up having funsnaps no fizzle or spark nothing dropping and a few dirty swings shameful golf to be fair. Shot a 65 to finish -31.
First cut made (I presume) so at least im on the board but shoulda woulda coulda been so much better!
winner next week will probably be in the 50s so its another make the cut job for me.

What a Leaderboard so far! The standard in Web.com is very high at the moment! It sure is! I made the prediction in my original post that the cutoff will be -16. With the number of people at -8 and better (83 so far out of only 105 entries), I think that -16 will be the bare minimum to have a chance at staying in. 68 people have -9 and better so a cutoff of -18 or even -19 is a real possibility. I tried the next week's course, Persimmon Valley, and it is a notch more difficult than Harvest Hills. So we will probably have a second week in a row where the first two rounds scores need to be really low to make it to the weekend.

Had one of the most unbelievable front 9s I'll ever have. 8 birdies and 1 eagle for -10. Finished the round at -12. Persimmon has some narrower fairways than Harvest. Greens felt more.. Whats the word.. Consistent? At Harvest there were some completely flat mixed in with some almost unfair slopes. Persimmon doesn't have either.

Wow, can't believe I might miss the cut. I played well I thought.
I'm surprised no one has complained about the course yet. For me it's got trees as bad as two weeks ago and greens as hard and sloped as any week. Maybe it's because people are scoring low that there are less complaints. I'm not complaining by the way, just wondering.

You don't know whether you're missing the cut just yet. -17 could still make it in depending on whether those that haven't teed off will finally do so or not. I don't think the conditions changed enough between round 1 and round 2, so projecting the cut line based off of the doubling of round 1 scores should be relatively accurate. I'm 100% in favor of harder courses after seeing how this course is being dominated score wise. I felt pretty decent about -18 through 2 rounds on Saturday morning. Now...not so much. Impressive leaderboard

Impressive leaderboard The Red October was a nice break away from the super difficult start of Ballyntyne National and then slightly easier Oktoberfest, but Harvest Valley feels more like a CC course.

First two rounds completed. Round one everything worked and landed a -13 whereas in round two, tee to green went just as fine as round one but my putting was not good and it all ended up with a -8. OK I think on a bad putting day and enough to make the cut, yeah. Good luck to all.
