My third and fourth rounds were littered with ball squirts that went well against the slope of the ball and/or put me in really bad positions off the tee. A lot of those two rounds required me to just scramble for par. Two bogeys in both r3 and r4. Still lots of lipped out putts. My fourth round could have been something special when I was -4 through 4, but then 2 pars (on #5 and #6 no less) and finishing with a bogey on the way out ruined that.
R1: 60 (-10) R2: 60 (-10) R3: 63 (-7) R4: 62 (-8) Total: 245 (-35)

Quick question...
I usually try to play my rounds late Saturday night (hard for me to complete with work and family obligations). I'm not sure if I made it into this tour as I've been floating around the edge of disappointment all week.
If I go ahead and play the tournament without officially being registered, with my score count or will I have to play it again?

It's not like you can play the tournament again under the same account (barring some glitch). You just enter the scores on Monday when score submission opens.

Great, thanks Jared. I'll head out and put on a display of poor putting and lost chances! Nice tournament by the way. -35 looks impressive after playing a few practice rounds on this course.

I think -35 will be close to the lead if not an outright win. Nice shooting Sooooo, uuuhhhh, did you play the tournament I did? Jared owned that course in practice as well. He only practiced it 5 times and was already shooting -10 by the fifth round. Whereas I practiced it 20 times and just could not do well on it. I hit -9 and -8 once each, but the vast majority of my scores were around -2 to -5. Him shooting -35 overall, not to mention consecutive -10's, will probably end up being the top of the leaderboard.

I love the difficulty of the course Luke. I'd be happy if they were all this difficult (if practice is to go by then I'll shoot lower on TST than I will here)
Great scoring Jared. I'm not going to get close to that.

Felt pretty good about my tournament, which is the first time in awhile. For my initial on the web tour I'll take it. 64, 61, 63, 66 for a -26. Really blew it round 4 with a lot of scrambling and a couple of awful bogeys. I only practiced the course 3 times because I was so used to the CC grip and rip. Positioning on these types of greens is vital. That won't fly up here with the big boys.
I'm with dh-nufc, I like the challenge of this type of course. Some scary drives with fairways slanting towards nasty stuff.
Just hoping to make the cut here!

I'm not going to get close to that. Saying that I hit the same score on ballantyne as I did on the TST. -19 but mine was just for fun. Even if everything had gone to plan -35 is a cracking score on this course. First week exemption to the euro I would say.

-19 after 3. Being disciplined now as I know 4 rounds in 1 sitting is too much for me! How long can I resist round 4?

-19 after 3. Being disciplined now as I know 4 rounds in 1 sitting is too much for me! How long can I resist round 4? You have more willpower than I do then! 4 rounds in a row is a grind, but I'm always fearful I'll lose my feel for putting or wind adjustments. Most of the time my tournaments are a mess and I play the 4th round just to get it over with. I'm still struggling a bit with the new wind. It feels like the sloped lies play a bigger role now and I find that hard at times to judge. I'll leave a shot 5 yards to the right because I don't adjust enough, then the next hole over compensate. Maybe taking the round 4 break is the key. Either way, good luck round 4 Driver.

-6 to finish, was chasing you all the way and missed out by 1 Well played! haha - well we can sit next to each other around the 50th spot, grab a beer, and talk about what might have been! I'm guessing at 50th place. Not sure what the studs on this tour will end up doing on this course.

I hope you're wrong about -26 being 50th place because that will probably mean I don't even make the cut! Improving my putting on fast sloping surfaces is my number one goal this year on web.com.
