I think I need a secretary to keep note of all of these rivalries!!! Already down in most. Like I need more pressure? Nah Deano, just copy and past the leaderboard into a spreadsheet
Noticed you "liked" my post about my 4th round falling apart... considering we were tied going into the final round, I'm not sure how to take that! Its on next round!!!!

After wakin up this morning to discover I somehow made the cut, I played round 3 and made a hole in one, my second one in tgctours. Only -4 though to go -10 after 3 round. I'm currently stood on the 13th tee. I've made 12 straight pars so far in round 4. Tough course, dunno how you guys have scored so well. I've struggled to get the ball close all week and the few opportunities I've had for usually simple birdie putts, I've lipped them out. Not my best tournament but there have been positives. • Made the cut. • Hole in one. See you next week folks! Congrats on the Hole in One.....
I lipped out a bunch of birdy chances as well...weird enough I made a couple long over 20 footers but couldn't make an 8 to 10 foot putt to save my life..HA

Forgot now that I moved up to the Web Tour that there are cuts after 2 rounds which sucks since my worst round was the first one. Shot 71, 65, 66, 64. Not a fan of courses where no pin is flat.

HA! I was actually just acknowledging the story telling part of your post and how you described your experience. Plus you had the nice chip in Eagle which is a thumbs up moment. But if I am going to be honest, a small portion of that thumbs up was directed at the 4th round falling apart! You'll get me this week I'm sure. No clue what it is about this next course, but I've struggled a lot in the 2 rounds I played.

I'm curious if anybody actually went for 16? I hit 3i or 5w all 4 rounds and never really considered hitting driver

Ended up on the left fringe and managed to knock in the chip from there for Eagle. I think my 2nd attempt I was to the right in the sand. It was doable but kind of high risk/reward.

Finished my forth round just before lunch - had a 66, 63, 68, 63
First and especially third round were inexplicably tough/strange: despite 2-3MPH winds tops, balls from the tee struggled a lot to stay in the fairway. A ton of ball squirt here and there and more than a couple of lipped putts on me did the rest. I was aiming TOP 10 this week.....disappointed with my overall composure.

I ended up with birdie on 16 in all 4 rounds, but I found it easier for me to take a short pitch shot that attacks the pin versus having to chip from from the rough, it just suits my game better, and I was rewarded 3 times for the conservative play.

I can't remember exactly which hole it was (somewhere between the 14-16 I think) but there was a hole that I was left with an ~8ft putt downhill 3 inches or so every round. When I was setting up for the putt the green grid made it seem like it would break quite a bit, but the actual path looked pretty flat! Every round I missed this putt, and every round I had ghost balls putting from the same area that were missing as well! Does this sound familiar to anyone? It ended up barely breaking everytime, which is what I expected from the actual look of the green, but the green grid ruined my interpretation of the correct path everytime and got in my head. Other than that I barely missed quite a few of my birdie putts but I can feel my short game improving. The short stick was definitely an important factor in this one!
Finished with a -25, hopefully hanging around the top 10.

Finished round 3 & 4 now - 63, 66, 65, 68. As we are tied after 3 rounds, it probably doesn't help me that round 4 was my worst. Oh, I beat you. Sorry. Hahaaa I would have been more sorry if you had done worse - my 68 was not a pretty round for me. Next time I get it right.

Played a few practice rounds yesterday night and couldn't do better than -6 under which is s bit demotivating since everyone seems to be saying its playing easy. Hopefully we'll step it up come tourney time
