Looks like the dates have been moved about and now fed ex play offs and race to dubai play at the same time which means zero players will be playing in both finales.

TGCTour Interesting (or totally useless) Facts
Top 60 Euro Money List: 17 players with 9 or less events Top 60 US Money List: 5 players with 9 or less events Top 125 US Money List: 27 players with 9 or less events
Fed Ex list doesn't show events played so took the money list. Make of that what you will (was bored at work).

Hey Doyley is there going to be a post about making the PGA Fed Ex dates the same as the Race to Dubai dates? Ie the reason for this and are you allowing people to play in both?

I didn't see anything in chat box, but when dates start changing and there isn't an official statement, questions ensue.

Yep details coming - it's quite the rabbit hole to go in trying to wrap up 4 tours without breaking the site - you discover a lot of interesting things along the way. We're going to have to do some things the TGC Tours way and make the best of it.

OP updated to this Summary of changes- Race to Dubai (4 events) moved to same dates as FedEx Cup playoffs (W34, W35, W37, W38)
- WGC - HSBC Champions pulled out of Race to Dubai (will stay on same date as real event) - Alfred Dunhill Links Championship slotted into Race to Dubai in its spot
- No event during W36 - crossover to the PGA to play that week (event has no FedEx points and money earned won't count against Race to Dubai - basically a filler event for both tours during an off week)
- All original events from W34-W38 were moved to W45-W49
- Season 1 ends W38
- Season 2 starts W41
Race to Dubai- To play you must have a European Tour card or have won a European Tour event, Major or WGC event in Season 1
- Money earned will carry over into the Race to Dubai
- Top 15 after DP World Championship will share $5,000,000 bonus money and will be included in Race to Dubai money totals (payout details here)

So basically players are not allowed to play both Fed Ex and Race To Dubai events? Like Scott has stated, possible to play both if you qualify but highly unlikely, sure the criteria has tightened for crossover players but it ask this, would you rather win your home tours finale or the opposites finale??? Me personally, I've always wanted to factor in my home tours finale and if I made the other tours finale then to me it was a bonus. With the new news it's now not really possible but no biggy as I would have taken someone's spot in the other tours finale and now that spot is free for a rightful home tour member. Peeps need to see the big picture. Well done TGCT!

So basically players are not allowed to play both Fed Ex and Race To Dubai events? In your case Ron. You might start with The Barclays ... stay inside the Top 30 and your good to go for the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. If you're outside the Top 30 after The BMW Championship, you are still good to go for DP World Tour Championship, Dubai; because: - you are winner (Major) - you've played 12+ events on the European Tour - $2.4M should be sufficient to make the top 60 Can't play both finales though.

Will there be other tournaments on the Euro Tour whilst the Race to Dubai events are being played? Since the Fed Ex is now the same time and you won't be able to play some US events players on the Euro Tour not in the top 78 on the money list (which most likely includes me) won't have anything to play between 22nd Aug and 12th Oct otherwise.

Top 78 active members - there won't be many not playing in Race to Dubai and those that aren't will be in the Web.com Tour Finals.
