Everyone quiet please. We still have a player on the course. Jek Malo is -17 after two rounds. And I'm -2 after a scintillating +3 in round 3. I'm not saying I could go 37 under in my final round but it could happen. Not sayin' but just sayin'.

I meant to say shoot 37, not 37 under. 37 under, as if THAT could happen.

Happy to have made the cut and had the opportunity to play in a PGA event.

Ended up shooting a -1 and +1 in the final two rounds. My goal was just to make the cut so anything beyond that was just icing on the cake.

Okay then... my first Major on TGCTours is now history, and I am absolutely happy the way I managed to perform.
71 (E), 63 (-8), 66 (-5), 66 (-5) = -18
Apart from my opening round (which was not that bad actually), this was for sure my best performance on tour so far, especially when you take into calculation how difficult that course was, and how high the density of the playing field is. After my "All-in"-Rd2 that turned out the way I was hoping for, I was so happy when I finally saw that it was good enough to make it into the weekend.
With that satisfaction of an ambition in mind I managed to shot another two decent rounds of 66 (-5) in Rd3 and Rd4.
I remember the day when I stepped on that course for the first time shooting +10 or so, missing almost any green and now I'm in the clubhouse at the end of the tournament with -18. Really, how much more could I expect? Elmview was (by far) not my favourite out of the Design Contestants, but I tried to make the best out of the given circumstances. With all the discussion going on about the course, I'd say it's tough, most likely not perfect... but definitely challenging and worth hosting the US Open here at TGCTours.
Thanks for reading! I'm actually gonna have a beer or two now... quiet proud of myself at the moment!

Oh my!
So between the finish of the second round and the start of the third my controller crapped out so I decided I needed to get a new one. Bought a Logitech that was right crap since I could only hit every third shot at 100%. Decided to go for the xbox one controller. Well it's better, but it is still going to require a whole lot of playing to get used to it enough even to hit a straight shot.
So I went +3 and +7 in the last two rounds. Gonna finish in 75th place, 7 strokes behind the next player above me. Good thing we have a week off.

Gutted to see Tom Humphries, 15th ranked in the world, didn't get his 4th round in. Only needed -5 for a top 10, now gets a DQ.

Congrats Gareth on the win. I don't know who you even are...but great work. I need to follow the Euro players a little more closely

Well done Hazzard for the great scoring and to everyone else for that matter. Was a tough course and alot were high strung by the wind patch being turned off.
Can only gleam the top scores from the forums as the main site is down and cant even see if I made the cut while I was in a cattle shed from thursday to sunday haha.
Due to this I unfortunately missed the real US open but got regular updates from farmers and punters who were at the highland show. Will watch a highlight reel later maybe
