Shot -7 in round 1, bogey free, everything went well in winds of 4-8mph
Shot E in round 2, complete nightmare, winds of 10-16mph
Hopefully -7 is enough to make the cut.

E in round one (4 bogeys I believe - nothing was going my way at all). Figured I was going to miss the cut - went out and shot a -10 in round 2 (play with my ghost ball on PS4...2 chip ins and a bunch of near hole outs on my second shots. Started to realize how good of a round I was putting together around hole 16 and almost blew it - had to scramble the last few holes for pars). -10 for the cut line...3 & 4 were back to earth -4 rounds for me. Originally was hoping for a T25 - hoping that still holds. This might be my favorite course on the tour. My rounds show that if you hit your shots (and with a little bit of luck from the golf gaming gods), you can go low - but if you don't even par might be the best you can settle for.

Dont get me wrong i absolutely love the challenge of this course, hitting fairways are tough and no approach is easy but it feels so good when it works out but i just wanted to have a little rant if i may ,Mustve had 6 3putts in the first 3 rounds, i studied the greens and then id miss what i thought was straight and then check the putt coming back and suddenly it would show some break, not sure what thats about but it sure as hell annoyed me! anyway rd1 (-8) happy ish, rd2 (-5) abit angry and rd3 (-5) abit more angry lol. Currently -18 after 3 rounds. Looking for a top 25 id guess

So far I have been playing well, but ran into heartbreaker in round 3 that could have given me a very very low -12 round. Almost aced Par 4 #6, see video below. Unfortunately, I was "rewarded" with a 8/10 foot double-breaker for eagle that lipped out, and only made birdie. Settled for a quite good -10 61. However, scores appear to have been going lower than I'd expected so far from looking at the message boards and playing the practice tours on PC. Also disappointing the wind changes have been revoked for now. Someone said there is a guy on PS4 that shot in mid or high 30's under, so I don't see a conceivable way I can get there anyway. Still a lot fun to compete for a major! Good Luck to everyone.

Solid round 1, with -7. Really threw a lot of shots away in rounds 2-4 with 4 doubles. Had rounds of -3, -2, -2 to close out. Was hoping to get to -20, but not quite able to pull it it off. Had a hole-in-one on 13 (I think) in round 4 which was nice. Great course overall, and I think a suitable choice for US Open.

71-65-61-70 for a -17 total Round 1 - -2 at the turn, playing solid golf. Middle of the 10th fairway, pitching wedge in hand, Get too cute with it and end up in the front right bunker. Fine, i'll just get up and down. But then..... select full shot instead of flop ( ) and hit it 40 yards over the back of the green. Mind totally scrambled i take a 7 to go over par. Chasing myself i can then only make one more birdie to get back to even. Round 2 - -4 through 6 and didn't make the most of it. Will -6 make the cut? Round 3 - Perfection. 10 birdies. No bogeys, make 3 chips and two 25 footers. Round 4 - Powered through in 12-15 mph winds just to prove to myself i could do it after last weeks debacle. And i sort of did. 5 birdies, 4 bogies for -1. Should have been -3/4 but wanted it over at this point tbh Overall, frustrated

Rounds 1&2 complete. Round 1 winds gusty 6-11. Had it to -3 after 8 and pretty happy with a couple of putts that should have dropped. Got cute with the drive on 9 and payed the price with a plug in the bunker which ended up a bogey -2 after 9. Back 9 was ok with a dropped shot birdies again for -4.... Not my best and not my worst. Round 2 winds 4-8. Extremely frustrating round with 3 lipouts(2 of which got spat out at 4:30pm or so) and 4 putts that shaved the hole, not to mention the stutter that caused me to hit a birdie putt on the 3rd from 8ft some 11ft past meant I was only -2 on the last tee(if a few putts went my way I would have been having an awesome round, played really well and rolled the putts great only to watch them not drop time after time after time). Got cute with the 3wd 2nd shot because of a bad wind direction and just caught the bunker.... Plugged. My pitch out almost landed on top of the timber retainer only to fall an inch short I reckon and rebound back a foot or 2. Knew flop over retainer was going to be close and yep, TO CLOSE!! Bounced back at my feet. 5th shot just grazed the retainer to deflect off just onto the fringe. Managed to hole the chip for bogey and -1 for the round.... Most frustrating Tourney round ever capped off by the most rage filled finish ever!!!!!!
Disclaimer: as nice as it makes the bunker look do not be fooled..... Come nowhere near it at all costs or you'll be at a loss like me. No way -5 will make the cut......

No way -5 will make the cut...... I wouldn't be so sure. I've worked out that at -6 i've beaten/tied 32/48 players to have finished 2 rounds on PC and PS4. So i'd say -5 has a chance.

It doesn't deserve to put it that way. The field here is way to good in my opinion. I was thinking -7 or -8 if everyone plays and shoots to the averages. I'd be thinking we would all average say -2 day 1 and -5 or so on day 2. Could be wrong. -6 might be safe. Good luck

68 63 68 69 -16
Could've done better but missed several short birds.
Highlight of my tourney was an eagle on 18. Only one I had all tourney.

65-64 had me at -13 and feeling really good at the cut line. 68-72** to finish in 10+ mph winds, just couldn't make the shots.
A real buzzkill for my last two rounds with the wind high, but i just went ahead and played cause ill be busy this week. Playing on a sponsors exemption so I'm hoping i can somehow get lucky enough to get promoted to the PGA Tour. Great course choice for this US Open though, really liked the challenge.
