Played the second round with SMIFFYLFC79 - we both struggled manfully, but I struggled just a little more ending up 2 shots behind with a -3. -11 at the halfway stage... looking like it'll be comfortably inside the cut line, for a change. So much scope to lose your sh%$... to compete at the medium player level this week it's all about not being bothered by bogeys.

Safe bet in checking the leaderboard that -7 will be the cut line

Who is Dutch Dean? I see he had 3 WD's at the start of the season then DNP every week until last week where he had another WD. He only has 2 strikes though, would have thought he'd be demoted after week 3. He's sitting at -3 after 1 round. Just curious Doyley wouldn't want SweetTeeBag missing the cut at -6 if Dean moves it to -7 if he actually finishes 2 rounds in a week

SmilingGoats - what’s the score with Dean?

I told him no smoking on the course but apparently went for naught.

Man, those round 4 pins were a pain, I think this was the most frustrating course for me all season.

Escaped round 2 to get in with -14 at the cut - only 9 shots back! This one just isn't my cup of tea on the enjoyment scale, but glad those of you who like playing courses of this ilk are enjoying yourselves, not the worst thing to have ever happened by any means. Fingers crossed to hold it together in the last 2 rounds, but this is 100% a "1 round at a time" type of course/event lol

One of these does not look like the other... Just realized what I was looking at... how on earth do you bird 8 of 9 on the back 9 of this course? That’s what I would call on fire. I think I only had one round (1st) where I didn’t have a bogie on the back 9. And even with that it was a 31 (-4). Most of my scoring for sure was front 9.

GIR T7 FIR T11 Birdies T12 Putts per hole T91 Guess I know what to work on in the off season. Actually the reason your PPH is so bad (relatively) is because your GIR is so good. You end up on the green a lot with your approaches. Not necessarily within 10 feet. I am the opposite. My GIR sucks but my PPH last time I looked was around top 30 in the game for the last year. Which means I miss the green a lot, chip or flop on and 1 putt. Yay me.

Off and away with a -2 to start 👌 Probably the worst that I've ever hit the ball to be honest. I was going to give up after 6 holes because I was hitting it so wonky, I carried on but nothing improved. When I had the odd good swing, the ball finished where I expected it to more or less. Not a fan of the course.

Honestly I'm floored that -13 is like top 20 right now. If if weren't for the double and triple bogey on two silly shots, I'd be top 4. Seriously, I'm not that good. Something is wrong with the cosmos I think.

Not so floored here, course has teeth. They are slightly blunted with the very slow greens on R3 tho, which partly explains my decent -10... first bogey free round. So far my tourny has been up & down like an anachronistic similie... from reports R4 will be back down again... can't wait

Brutal course. +1 in first round, everything went wrong. I knew the course would be tough so I threw on a few good scoring ghosts to see if it helped reading bounces & rollouts....yeah, it helped exactly 0%.
I'd pretty much written myself out of the tournament after r1 when I loaded it up to log r2 last night. I peaked at the leaderboard and realized -7 probably makes the cut, meaning I need a -8. Felt like long odds after the +1, but I didn't have any ghosts, took it one hole at a time and between 3 chip/flop-ins, a handful of solid par & bogey saving putts, capped off by a very clutch 24 ft putt on 18 I actually scratched my way to the -8 for the round / -7 overall. Barring a massive influx of players that haven't teed off yet that should be safe for the cut and move onto next week, where I figure I'm pretty much dead meat, but just happy to be here.
