Sorry Mitch, but it's not like I'm even trying to do that... I wished that my swing was like anybody else here and get it to register as full on a constant basis... And HB's "bs" about the swing now being 1:1... If that was the case, when I would complete my swing by hitting the front plastic of the DS4 I would always get a completed swing... and if I didn't, it wouldn't register has completed! I get half swing in the HUD when I hit the plastic more often than not and vice versa... It's far from being a 100%... on the PS4 anyways. Can't speak about other systems. Anywys, TGTours can only read the truncated data that they get from HB! Not trying to be a &%^$#, but my line registers a full swing every single time the stick hits the plastic. Then you're putting way more pressure on the stick than I do when you swing because if you don't you start getting some funky results in the HUD

Always a full line if the stick hits plastic. Will have to see it to believe it I guess. [shrug shoulders emoji]

I hit the plastic most every time but register short swings. It's having light pressure on the analog.

I don’t believe it’s pressure. The sticks don’t register pressure only movement. I think tbe cause is tbe flick itself, too fast to register all data

I think tbe cause is tbe flick itself, too fast to register all data By light pressure I mean the analog is "let go of" easier, nothing to do with speed (tempo would be off if it was a speed thing). My swing is not a flick at all. Full swing, but the light pressure means I don't hold the analog up on the plastic, rather I am letting go right as it hits it.

No offense but that is the most ridiculous comment I’ve read in awhile. I call BS. If not, prove me wrong with video Edit: Swing however you feel like but just don’t try to say you aren’t flicking it. That is proabably 90% of tbe DQs 2nd edit: Sorry, calmed down. I do remember Bob attempting to learn the full swing so maybe you did stick to it. But I would imagine your lines nowhere near as short as they were if tbts the case. Just tired of tbe same conversation.

Rage quit. DNF. That is all. Carry on with your "flicks" and whatever.

Not trying to be a &%^$#, but my line registers a full swing every single time the stick hits the plastic. I hit the plastic most every time but register short swings. It's having light pressure on the analog. Yep I'm now convinced it's primarily about the pressure, I've recently been able to get fasts / very fasts with the driver almost on command by switching to a light touch which gives me a short line most of the time. I use the chess piece hold method and top of the plastic is hit every time, so I no longer believe a short line is solely due to a short stick movement.

Tried for months and never achieved the short swing. How does pressure even make a difference? The stick travels up to hit the plastic or it doesn't.... no?

With very light pressure, it just doesn't register 100% of the times as a full swing with a DS4 even if you ear the stick hit the top....

What’s probably happening is you guys *think* the stick is hitting the top, but the noise/sensation is just the stick’s reflex back to center. My guess is that you let go of the stick due to the light pressure, so you really don’t have a feel for whether the top gets touched.

My guess is that you let go of the stick due to the light pressure, so you really don’t have a feel for whether the top gets touched. It actually does hit the top. I can do both and it is the letting go of the stick that can result in short lines. the short line probably has to do with lag as your not holding the stick at the end of the swing so it may not pick it up. If you cant short line try pulling the stick back with your left index finger and legit flick the stick with an actual flicking motion with your right hand (like your flicking some ones ear, or a pea across the table). You'd be amazed at the results you can get and may learn a thing about how tempo works too.
