Cheers Rob - good luck in the rest of your Web rounds. Now to see if the swing and putting is still there tonight for TST...

A little message for all of u cc-a players. So far 8 of the 11 exemptions players are in the top 26 after 1 rd, and 2 haven’t tee’d off yet. That’s out of 71 early players. The point is....the grind is getting out of the CC pro ranks. Once out, you see that we are able to compete! Grind it out down here, and come out tougher and you will make noise going forward!!!
CC pro is the best schooling you can receive. A flow of great players is constantly coming through the ranks. If you can earn an exemption, you can earn a web card if you play the same way!
Good luck!!!

There is a very small difference in skill among Euro, Web.com, CC-A and CC-B players.
That means it's difficult to move up through CC until that one day where it "clicks". Then you start soaring up the flights.

So true. I was in CC-A for 4 weeks and I thought I'd never get out, because the scores needed to get top 10-12 were just incredible. Now, 9 days since moving up to Web there's an outside chance my Euro score this week could earn me an exemption to PGA. I've been improving of course but not THAT much, fact is the CC-A standard is extremely high and it's extremely difficult to escape, you need to play an absolute blinder over 4 rounds. Just shows how crucial a good Q School performance is.
If you're capable of getting a sub-60 round with some regularity in CC Pro, you're already good enough to mix it with the Web and Euro boys imo, and that covers probably 50+ CC Pro players at least.

The scoring so far......!!!! 64 players with 33 in double figures in R1. So on that basis, -36 total (4 * -9) is heading for a strike!!!!!

Just an update regarding cc-a exemptions. 10 of last weeks 11 exemptions all earned their Web.com cards. The 11th player did not tee off. So that’s 100%.

I'm (as usual) sitting here sweating an exemption on a Saturday morning - could do with another player to start the event to get the number up to 11 - and then there are currently 7 guys not finished (either played 2 or 3 rounds) who realistically can go past the -39 mark. Another nervy Saturday in TGCT lol

Sorry to hear that Luke - its always better to earn your finish position, rather than someone not being able to finish due to (I assume) stuff going on in real life. And it would have been a great achievement to promote playing TST style for you. 2 of the others not showing 4 rounds have actually finished on PC - and both still below the line too.

Well once the leaderboards updated, the expected drop to below exemption happened so still here this week - and I suspect the result this week will be the same again - left a lot of shots out there so >-40 going to be needed again for exemption -11 -5 (including a nice 3 putt from 6 feet) -8 (including a VF hook in the water at 10 for a double) -13 Total -37 Gave it a real go in the final round, but won't be enough. Nice course - good mixture of tough holes and easy. (The 15th green is a b***h, while a few holes give good risk reward) And always nice for the stats to have the 120 foot drop from the 16th tee - 348 yard drive in R3 with players clubs
