Pressure was really on in my last two rounds! those nerves were a gangling, but managed to keep my cool and score reasonably well with 61 -11 in both. Had a few lippies and a few sitters, but I can't complain, overall a very satisfying event. Should be floating around the exemption mark so hopefully will be back up in web, which is one of my goals for the year (check). Total -47 Very solid! I'm pulling for you. I hope everyone who manages mid 40's can earn that exemption!
Cheers mate. I’ve really missed web fighting for the cut line. Fingers crossed 🤞

I think I read somewhere that you play with no aides. I've never tried it, but can't imagine shooting under par like that. Great tourney

Played with Gavlaar rounds 2 and 3 and he hit a 59 in round 3, insanely good shooting 😱 that’s why he is on the Rocher Tour I guess.

-44 for the tournament, should see me comfortably secure my A card. Will be interesting to see if it maybe sneaks me an exemption but I think that may be asking too much.

You are right there for exemption!!! I figure we may get about 10-15 more players by the end of the tourney, which will change exemption line.....either good or bad based on their scores. Good tourney and congrats on earning your cc-A card!

Yay! Looks very likely I’m off up to web on exemption. Took a few weeks! Had a cheeky practice on next weeks web course and I’m going to need a lot more practice to stay up there and make the cut. Tough course to get right.
It’s Been a pleasure, adios amigos!

Congrats to all advancing!! I got snake bit! Tied for first and I lose the tiebreaker!! Sucks when we are 4 strokes ahead of second place score! Either way I’m going to Web, but really wanted the straight Web card. I kind of feel I should get the card at least. If he gets the points trophy and card.
A little bitter, but also very happy!!

That is a bit harsh. I agree with you rob, you should still get the straight card. And the winner gets card points and title. With scoring like that though mate, I think you will still get your card next week. Well played

There's a guy on -37 after 3 who got a 56 in the 3rd round, if he goes beast mode and gets 55 in his final round he'll end up with -54 total, which would help overcome the tiebreaker frustration

Well I'm pretty sure I'm back up here for a 2nd exemption in three weeks - and this time I think I'm here for more than just this week.
Played a few society / other tour events earlier today - played awful - couldn't hit the cone where I wanted at all (I nearly always hit a slight draw and was nearly missing it right about 50% of the time) and putted horrific!
Eventually found a swing this evening - and started this with a lovely 59 (-13). Followed that with a 67 (-5) which probably saw me lip out (or roll right across the hole) on about 8/9 occasions - I think my stats for those two rounds will be very similar except putts actually holed!
Round 3 started with 7 straight birdies and finished at another -13. Despite my only bogey of the event in R4, I birdied the last two holes for -8 and a total of -39.
Got to be enough to secure the card - probably a few shots shy of an exemption to web though I suspect?
Good luck all.

It’s a good feeling to control the emotions and drop a good number. It’s a long week watching the scoreboard.....and hoping for exemption. But hey, in the clubhouse drinking a cold one waiting for the field to roll in!!! Again great tourney!!
