After a lot of reading in the forums, I thought I'd try to start writing in here as well, especially since CC-A is rather dry. Admittedly, this is easier when you play good than when you play bad, but since I hate it when people only post their victories, I'll try to post about my failures as well... Anyway, so this is my second visit in CC-A. After missing the clear strike line by just one stroke a few weeks ago, my objective is to simply stay in here for a while. After two rounds (62-58), reaching this objective is realistic. An exemption to Web.com would be nice, but I don't see myself playing in that league yet. In both rounds, chipping and putting went really well, and some difficult putts even went in with a bit of luck, so that I really cannot complain about the bogeys I added every now and then. The greens felt a little slow in comparison with the last few weeks, but maybe that is what made my putts go in. I'll probably play the remaining two rounds by the end of the week.

Round 1: 71
This round was complete garbage. Most of my shots were bad tempo. Had quite a few slow/slows and a few other combos. Playing like this just pisses me off so much.
Round 2: 70
In this round i started with a -8 front 9. For some reason my tempo was nowhere near as bad and i could do some damage but then came the back nine and my tempo started to go bad and i hit some bad shots which then instantly turned my mood and i couldn't be bothered to take any interest from there on out. It wasn't fun at all.
This game is a not a relaxing one unlike the first game.
Obviously a missed cut and i don't give one **** about that.

Couldn't resist to play the remaining two rounds yesterday. The third round was a nice contrast to the second. I misread many winds and lies, which made a number of putts rather difficult. Needless to say that I missed the majority of them (I'm not a good putter if the slope is challenging). On top of that, I decided to add two drives into the water in the back nine. 69 overall, 11 strokes worse than the previous round. Went on playing the final round, where, surprisingly, I was back on track. Despite two bogeys, I managed to add another 62 to my scorecard. The resulting final score of -37 will surely get me a ticket for CC-A. Considering the very low scores that are currently showing up on the leaderboard, I assume I will finish a few strokes below the exemption line. But this is perfectly fine since I'm just happy to make CC-A. Good luck to all!

Phew, that was close! Got an exemption since just enough players showed up on the leaderboard after its final update (T12 of 121, prior to full results only 117 registered). Glad to have one week off of CC-Pro, as I actually already started playing the next course, which I find pretty difficult (had a mere -9 after two rounds of struggle).

Just a heads up - I've removed the golfer named Anthony Nicholas from the qualifying event and moved him up to the European Tour. Not a lot adding up
1. Joined up 2 weeks prior to qualifying event 2. had to shoot a 70 with 31 putts to stay below exemption line in last week's event 3. able to shoot 56 in R4 at Magnolia and was 12-13 shots ahead of everyone else in CC-Pro
Carry on!

Just a heads up guys. We’ve decided to go back to the old system of having two threads, one for CC-Pro and one for CC-Am. It would hopefully create more conversations and also take up less space in the pinned section (for more important stuff like the multi-pin schedules). These threads are also getting a bit long. Anyways, we will create monthly threads starting tomorrow, and these will be locked. Just wanted to say this so you don’t get confused. Thanks!
