That's what I was hoping you'd say, but I will wait for Doyley's answer ? I was struggling when I was playing but after finishing I came in this thread and read a few things and I realised I hadn't taken into account things like how long the ball was in the air. Would you say if it's a downhill shot, you also need to go slightly higher on the percentage you adjust because the ball is in the air longer? For example if it's usually 150% for a 4i, but it's down hill, would you maybe go 155/160%? Regarding diagonal winds, would you also assume these percentages are based on a complete headwind/tailwind, so maybe add/reduce yards based on the angle of the wind? That's what I would say too Cool, thanks. Getting a bit better on my approach but my putting is still awful (I haven't read that bit of the guide yet). I'll get better with practice using this method.

Yea, have a quick glance at the putting because if you aren't moving the marker you may be having a tougher time getting accurate distances. That's an easy stroke saver too.

All your #'s are wrong 95% swing does not equal 95% power. I tested it and all ur calculations were off by at least 5 yards carry. Did my own chart by using driving range with all water holes and dialed it in. This took like 4 hours your method only looked at percentage marked on loft meter

I tested it it's not that hard to test he took the full yardage and multiplied it by the loft % listed on the loft meter I tested the club on my driving range I'm not trying to be negative, I'm simply asking if he tested it or if he just worked the listed numbers?

Maybe a update messed up the chart. If u use that chart now you won't do so well. You ur self must not use this chart or u would know it is wrong

Hey Mike, you are quite possibly correct as I haven't checked the numbers over a bunch of updates. Just confirming the numbers you are using are carry numbers and not including roll-out?

They where carry I used your chart. I loved chart even know it was slightly wrong because it got me in the driving range to test it and I ended up making a kick ass chart with ur basic idea so THANKS SO MUCH Even the pitching was off slightly. When I took a club and mtiplied it by the loft chart % ie 0.95 the number matched ur chart # but on the course and my range it didn't my range is a 18 level tee box's surrounded by water, so their is no bounce or roll out, only carry distance. Thanks for the inspection to make my own chart? if only I could putt took the rumble packs out for COD and I think I lose all that feedback ?

Bare on mind you say they were out as much as up to 5 foot. Well 5 foot is less than 3% for most clubs. When some of the gaps have like 10% between them that can be such a small difference.
I will do some investigating myself I think but I reckon the charts will have the yardage nailed as that what the loft boxes say the % should be. If the charts are wrong then the game is wrong but I use them all the time and always find I'm withing a few feet to where I want to be length wise.
Fwiw that 1mph wind in your face on practice will knock of a good 3-4 yards.on your 3 iron

I turn so the win is blowing from 9 or 3 and it's 5 or 6 yards not feet that's a lot. I've played tiger since 2004 so I do know how to set up a yardage chart you can test but I knew it was off from the start if it was just one or two shots I could understand, but every shot was 5 to 6 off even at the range when I made the wind a none factor

I'm using a cronus max, which allows me to use my xbox 360 afterglow contrioller with a straight stick so I know I'm not miss hitting it
