That damn Copperhead!! Nice courses picked in all rounds! I really enjoy this! Not so much if it's a fresh one I've not seen, though! No practice rakes me over the coals.

Good luck everyone! Copperhead is about 30 minutes up the road from me. Haven't had a chance to play it yet unfortunately.

I'm way behind on this - played Week 2 last night, had some mixed feelings about my game but loved the three courses.
Rd 1 (-8) - Showed a bit of rust on the firm greens. -8 was kind of flattering, started strong and then made a ton of pars coming in. Rd 2 (-15) - Seems this course is popping up all the time lately (for good reason), so I knew the drill. Survive the first 4 holes and you can go low the rest of the way. Was annoyed to be -1 after 4 but ended with 14 straight birds. Was chasing down some amazing scores - couldn't catch the likes of JT with a ridiculous 52. Rd 3 (-10) - Probably my most consistent of the three. Course was entirely new to me, great choice and good fun to play in the wind. Middle of the round was TOUGH. Clearly I have no idea how to play a 50 yd pitch when the wind is blowing 19mph at 5 o'clock... overshot the hole by about 10 yards.
Really hoping in TGC2 that there will be the option for wind levels to be set manually within a range of X mph (e.g.: still, breezy, windy, gusty), like you can in other golf games. From reading the HB Forums, it seems unlikely. That third course was made so much more interesting by the high winds.
All in all -33, maybe good enough for top 10 or 15?? Thanks again for running this, guys!

Thanks again for running this, guys! You've been on fire lately! I think your score will be top 5. I shot 33 under as well with -6 (2 bogeys) -13 -14 The designer of copper head planted some brutal greens. I don't think there's a pin that's not on some kind of borderline yellow (without actually showing yellow) slant. I struggled with this course on November's elimination round as well with a 7 under. I thought I shot lights out on the last course and played real clean on the second course. Nice job with that 15 under!

Never stood a chance to match Tim & Jimmy with their -33 for week 2 and still I am happy with my -18 (-3,-8,-7). It was once again a fine selction of courses and all in all I played well so all those where margins were not on my side just tell me I am close to getting them. Look forward to wk 3.

Thanks Jimmy, anytime I can match your score I'm happy! Week 3 off to a good start, 60 on Scorpion's Nest, what a beauty of a course Jason White. Glad we didn't have to play it from the tips... that would make for a hell of a week on tour.

Once again I have to apologise to my fellow rrcc'ers ....my behaviour at copper f&*#kng head went waaaaaay beyond anything that could be deemed appropriate. The hookers and pizza I ordered on the 8th,9th and 10th will be cleaned up by a specialist in due course.....The remanents of my golf attire I burnt on the following holes will be reclaimed and to the club secretary's wife I promise to pay for the years of psychological scarring for recreating my putting stroke with little digs in the locker room went beyond what is acceptable. my sincere apologies...
