God i miss this Tour so much Just thinking, is there nothing, nothing at all we can come up with to replicate it as much as we can? Make the best of a bad job?

God i miss this Tour so much Just thinking, is there nothing, nothing at all we can come up with to replicate it as much as we can? Make the best of a bad job? Only thing I've thought of is taking it out of a centralized location - meaning, not in a society or on one of the old tours - and playing just a single round on a defined setup. Then each player would have to come here and post their score (more admin work) or perhaps just have an open google doc spreadsheet that allows players to open and input their scores themselves, kind of like signing off on your scorecard. Obviously this is ripe with potential pitfalls - for starters, different winds, players choosing the wrong course or tees/pins on accident, etc. - but it's basically the only viable option I'm afraid. Not sure the RRCC crew would want to handle that kind of admin obligation, either, because I can easily see how it could be incredibly burdensome.

Definitely not... at least as far as my person is concerned. Acutally Giraffe72 presented a doable suggestion to me a few weeks back where we basically would need 3 volunteers on each platform. One would run a 'Round 1' Society, another 'Round 2' and the last 'Round 3'. Each would set up a one round tournament which lasted a whole week. I would schedule 3 courses a week as normal, but would organize it into round 1,2.3 courses so the society heads could set their schedule. From the players point of view, these would be free societies so they could just hop about between them just as they do with TGCT ones. As said before, it would be possible to run this. Even on all platforms. But what I can see (call me prophet of doom and gloom if you want) is that it would be a pain in the ass to set it all up at the same time each and every week (in TGC1 it was easy with just me doing that for all systems), and that the "Score Team" will have loads of work collecting the scores from 3 different rounds on 3 different platforms. To me personally all that is just too much of an effort. And it's a shame HB still doesn't have an open ear for their precious customers.

It's a bit of a pain without tours, but very doable and I would be happy to coordinate (or help to). I don't think we'd have any trouble getting 3 society heads on Xbox and PS4, I'm not sure about PC...

And you would need to be a little ahead of the game with the course selections, then it wouldn't be a pain in the ass to set them up because it's all done in advance. I want the RRCC back, the courses being created for it are amazing, let's do this!

And score collection might be easier, being as we'd have 3 potential score collectors on each platform. I'd have to make some changes to that beautiful spreadsheet though...
