Thanks for all you guys do. My joy for this game is dying. I used to spend alot of time on tgc1 either playing side events or designing. The designer is constantly crashing and outside of the xb1 society there is not golf to play. Hopefully they get this going smooth soon.

Great write up Jamie but i really don't think i deserve any award. I only played 4 weeks which isn't good enough to be recognised for something.
Well done to everyone else who picked an award up and everyone who runs the tour!

What a great tour and idea this was. You guys that ran this for us, and did all the write ups and standings, just WOW! I had a blast and enjoyed all the competition. Hope something like this will live on going forward. Thanks again!

Thanks for the write up as always Jamie. We wouldn't have half the audience we ended the third season with if it hadn't been for your colorful write-ups week after week. To the rest of the RRCC team, past and present (Thomas, JT, Dean, John), it's been a pleasure. Hopefully the developers will find some way to let us continue RRCC in its TGC2 reincarnation at some point. Thank you to those that congratulated me on being season 3 champion. In reality, a dozen other RRCC players could have been in my place had they just played week in, week out. Guess I just had too much time on my hands. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I have taken a step back from the game and involvement in the forums since TGC2 came out. Its release just happened to coincide with my move to a new home and my brother from overseas visiting me for six weeks. With the ten or so rounds I have played on TGC2, I don't think I'll be anywhere near the top of a leaderboard in a pro league for a while. I actually won't be surprised if I drop down to the CC as I have trouble breaking par on many of the courses. Thank you all for playing RRCC. It's been an honor to be a part of this.

Ugh. Need this to happen in TGC2. I feel left out. Bookmarked this thread and everything. Great job to those involved.

Sorry about making my earlier post all about me! I really wish TGC2 had the capabilities so that the RRCC Tour can continue. I would definitely be playing it if it did. Again, huge thanks to everyone involved and the success of the tour is mind blowing really if you sit there and think about it

Thanks for the write up as always Jamie. We wouldn't have half the audience we ended the third season with if it hadn't been for your colorful write-ups week after week. THAT! Those write ups added such a great atmosphere to this tour, and I think it was really something people were looking forward to every week. Great job, Jamie! Congrats Jimmy on your great performances! Well deserved S3 Champion!

The end of an era............. Absolute kudos to Thomas & all the guys who assisted, not least Jamie for his exceptionally penned write ups, in bringing us this community event week after week without falter. Surely one day.... rising from the ashes, the RRCC phoenix will fly once again? For now though I will stare at the flickering embers with happy memories & hope.

Enough about the good write ups. What was wrong with mine? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? I didn't waffle on like Jamie does! Seriously though. You've got a talent for this, you must spend so much time doing it Jamie! I think there has to be a future for RRCC it's been going so long. One course per 3-4 days over 4 weeks would work quite well. In-game scores would add up automatically. at the end of the 4 week period the final scores would be collated across 3 platforms as they are now. The biggest issues are that a society is required for each platform and the tournaments would have to be created on each platform. I think that is manageable.

Were any of these scheduling limitations evident in the beta stage or was it a strictly a play and design availability?

I don't think in game scores would add up though would they, because each round would be its own Tournament? We'd have to collect scores for each individual round! That was the beauty of a tour, one round on 3 different courses with the cumulative score at the end. I think we could work on 3 separate societies and with the time limit, it's the lack of a tour that is the problem. Or am I missing something?
And thanks for the kind words, it's been a genuine pleasure to be a part of it. To be honest my main job was not breaking that spreadsheet and trying to keep it up to date, the write ups were just a load of waffle with some stats and the odd bad joke thrown in!
Haven't heard from the boss on this subject for a while, let's see what happens....
