My Worst effort so far......great courses with lots of birdie chances......a little breezy perhaps and didn't realize that Ollie was soft greens for a couple holes expecting them to be like the PGA event, so took a little bit to confince myself they weren't going to run out.......but really, no excuses, i truly had my "F" game on this one......(-27).......don't expect to be anywhere near the top 10 for this week......i love this competition!

Evening all!  Welcome to your results service for week 4 and the end of our first four-week tournament of the season.  Week 4 featured: ( Generic_Casual "That damned"..) Copperhead At Innisbrook Resort (Boreal) by Michael Flood The stunning The House On The Cliff (Highlands) by Adam Benjamin TPC At Castaway Bay (Tropical) by Chris Saunders Results (79 players): 1=. can'tfindtag Regis Fretto (Fra, PS4) -38 1=. blackaces13 Mike Blackman (USA, PS4) -38 3. tsar35 Bruno De Thysebaert (Bel, XBox) -36 Web Players Of The Week: 31. Chief Bill Hibbard (Eng, PS4) -19 31. baco77 Mark Fleming (USA, PC) -19 CC Players Of The Week: 43. can'tfindtag Paul Winkworth (Can, PS4) -15 45. stewarty5 Charlie Stewart (Ire, PS4) -14 49. Ashton Fox Ashton Fox (USA, XBox) -13 Digs vs Sam Watch: 38. SAM Simon Morris (Eng, PC) -16 62. digsb Digs Bridgen (Eng, XBox) -7 80. A Passing Traffic Cone (Eng, M5) +13 Could Jimmy Kuo take the first 4-week tournament with a win?  Would Jeff McPhee or Jamie Fluke play well when it matters and steal it away?  Well, the answer to both questions is No.  Frenchman Regis Fretto and American Mike Blackman share the victory in week 4 with a score of -38, both making a welcome first podium appearance of the season after regularly featuring last season.  I had thought for a while that we might have a shock victory this week until those PS4 scores came in, not to be but still a fantastic result for Bruno de Thysebaert to top the XBox leaderboard and finish 3rd overall, just 2 shots back. In the Web, Bill will be surprised to know that he's done it again (that's now 2 for 2!), but this time shares the honours with Mark Fleming, another player regularly mentioned on this tour.  Come on fellas, about time you made the jump and gave a few other Web players a chance to shine! In our Challenge Circuit tournament, the top 3 all made the top 50 on the main leaderboard and so scored points there too.  Paul Winkworth takes his second win of the current tournament, very closely followed by Charlie Stewart and Ashton Fox who have their best weeks of the season so far. And in our "`exciting to everybody called Simon or Digs" section, Simon has by far his best week of this tournament with a 38th place finish giving him some decent points.  Digs not so much, but at least he did beat the traffic cone I saw on my way up the M5 today (although not Redundant Nemesis lead guitarist brianfuller75 who scored -11 ) 1-1!  I think we'll run this until somebody gets 2 clear points ahead……. And so to the results of our first 4-week tournament of the season!  We had a total of 152 players play at least some part in this tournament which I'm pretty sure is a new record, thank you to everybody for playing!   1. canthitstraight Jimmy Kuo 395 points 2. blackaces13 Mike Blackman 380 3. jtcurrent JT Current Champion ™ 350 The top 3 has a very familiar look about it!  Mike's win in the 'double points' week 4 takes him close but Jimmy does just enough to hang on and be our first RRCC champion of the season.  Reigning (or Current..) overall Champion JT has a good 4th week and gets himself up to 3rd.  Big shout outs to JeffJeter Jeff Mcphee, Timbr0_T Ben Timmons and dysania Jamie Fluke who have been consistently in the top ten and make up the next 3 spots.  Congratulations to all, but especially Jimmy on another win! CC Results: 1. can'tfindtag Paul Winkworth 181 2. andybarrell Andy Barrell 130 3. MagneticPanda31 Rick Green 114 It appears Andy Barrell is the new Michael Earl ( mde8965 you're so yesterday! ) and is rising fast through the official ranks, but a not so good week in week 4 sees Paul Winkworth leapfrog him to take the tournament victory.  Good consistent play sees long-time RRCC friend Rick Green take 3rd place.  And more points for Ruskie who is soon going to be running out of wall space unless he can figure out a way to minimise these spreadsheets….. Full results can be found here
Challenge Circuit results can be found here
Many congratulations to all our winners, to everybody who feels they did well this week, and to everybody who just enjoyed the courses.  I'm off to play Mirkwood…..

Thanks for the 4 week recap Jamie! I thought I shot lights out for the fourth week only to fall to fifth place. Looks like it was just enough to hold off Blackman's amazing 4th week comeback.
Shout out to the rest of the top 5, JT, Jeter, and Ben Timmons.

I know that a lot of people think that, but I highly doubt it.
If that would be true, we wouldn't see him leading the official TGCT-leaderboards lately without being banned already weeks ago.

Lol Thomas, I think Digs was talking about the actual traffic cone I shoehorned into the write up, not Regis Fretto! I'm sure he would love to be compared to a traffic cone! Innocent until proven guilty as far as I'm concerned, I don't like baseless accusations being flung about just because somebody plays well.

Yep I'm definitely talking about the traffic cone not Bradley putter. I'm not a controversial character.... I just don't want to be beaten by a inanimate object.....unless it's wagtunes.
