Been a while since I made a putt over 50 feet!
This eagle and a lucky hole out eagle earlier in the round ALMOST makes up for double bogey on the second or third hole of the first course. I think it was 5 strokes, 4 of them being putts, on a par 3. Thought my final round was going to be a huge flop but toughed it out and shot pretty well. Bradley and Ian will probably shoot in the -40's if they play, but I'm more than happy with my -37 on a double points week.

A warm welcome back to our podium to last year's overall runner up Mark Custard who takes his first top 3 of the current season. Andy Barrell has swapped his CC Award for a Web one, beating pablo in to second on his own course. The ever shy and retiring Jim McCarthy rejoins the RRCC for the first time in a very long time and puts in an excellent performance to win the CC award and take some decent points on the main leaderboard while he's at it, welcome back sir  . Alex Young and Matt Comley (who I notice both had good results on the main tour last week) share second place on the CC leaderboard and also squeeze in to the top 50 on the main one. And it's 2-1 to Sam, can he finish our Digs off next week? Bit of a rushed write up this week, a little short on time and apparently the missus wants me to take her out for lunch (hope they've got WiFi..), but before I go I really want to extend a warm welcome to a new guest player. He finished in 81st with a score of +38 so stunk the place up a bit but this matters not, the RRCC welcomes players of every skill level to just come and enjoy some of the fine courses that are out there, so welcome a_stool_sample, feel free to pop by any time, not least because you've given us a chuckle! Oh, and tell your mates Steamy_Heapy and Tagnut21 they are more than welcome too. Congratulations to all our winners and thanks as always to everybody for playing and helping to make it the fun tournament that it is Full results can be found here

Simply right click on the badge in your browser & "save image as" to your preferred local drive & folder.
Once the 17 hour (approx) download has completed simply print off & cut out your badge... (have an adult help you with this part to safeguard safety standards).
You can then glue or use a safety pin to wear it with pride & show your support.

I think this might have been my first double-eagle in any sort of tournament? Not 100%. Anyway, much improved performance after last week's mess. Gonna try and play these more consistently again.
