How did I push you? I don't have the game yet as I've been wondering the same things you are Doh! I meant Dean & Canuck! Went out and bought it today.... A LOT more enjoyable than the old F1 2010 that I'd kept around! One thing though... I had to go with full traction control. I tried semi-assisted TC, and still car fishtailing like crazy. Probably not such an issue with a pedal setup, but on console (PS4), you pretty much need full TC imo. So far, I've seen the same funky AI I've seen on Canuck's Twitch stream... sometimes just kamikaze aggressive - bumping you off track from behind like there's no tomorrow. I don't blame Andre for doing so many flashbacks!

Completely agree TreeWood. I couldn't drive with traction control off or medium, maybe with some practice but I doubt it! I started career last night. Even practice sessions are fun. I played for more than an hour an I'm still in practice session 2. You 3 different tasks to do which if you get right increase development chances for the car. They also help you with tyre management and rack positioning. Still very impressed.

I got the game on release day for ps4 and still having a lot of fun, as for playing with a controller as opposed to a wheel. They have done a amazing job making the controller feel just right. There is no problems playing with a controller at all, would have answered sooner but only just saw this thread.

Are you playing a multi-player season? I was just wondering if I could join once I played the game about. Problem is I still won't be able to play that often. Don't worry, I'm better at F1 than I am at Rocket league!!!

Guilty.
This was retribution for my slightly early start. It's barely noticeable.

I think starts are the hardest part...Andre seems to always get a good start. The only way I seem to survive when I'm in traffic is to stay out of the way and let people pass.
I also found that I was spending too much time trying to find the right difficulty settings for Australia. Turns out, I just sucked at Australia. I have been much better at Bahrain and China.

Gonna have to delete some stuff, out of room on the PS. Now, what to delete hmmmm..... I'm sure you'll love it. It's always a difficult choice especially if you haven't got a high speed connection and re-downloading takes a while! I almost deleted Fifa (2015) the other day. I've not played it pretty much I got TGC 18 months ago. I used to play it every week without fail.

Made 1 of 2 decisions.
1. Will I buy the game? A: Yes
2. PC or PS4. A: No clue. On one hand I have as it seems quite few tgc friends on the ps4 who plays it and that's nice. On the other hand I just bought my PC and it outperforms the ps4 by miles. Also I normally don't play multi-player so that would also be in the PC favour. Then again I might enjoy multi-player so it would be dumb not to get it on the platform that seems most accessible....
Decisions decisions...

Jared - "right so how do i do the start?" Myself & Dan - "easy, just hold X and accelerate together then let go off X when the lights go out" Jared - "okay, I got this"
10 seconds later... Jared - "I don't got this"
