Wins are what we all go into every week hoping to achieve. The points/fake money mean very little in comparison.
I think you'd have very few complaints if the wins were re-awarded but everything else left as it was.
Playing whilst banned, and creating a whole new identity in order to compete and win, is cheating in my eyes. So, he did cheat to get those victories. He just cheated before he even hit a shot. |

So, if we assign trophies to the 2nd place people, but don't adjust the leaderboard, any points, any money, the tournament page winner will not be adjusted....basically make no other changes except put a trophy card in the 2nd place people's profiles...Is everyone in agreement that will be sufficient? We won't hear anything further?

I am not in the position for this specific situation, but for last year on Web, I was fine without the extra WGR, $$$, etc. I just wanted the acknowledgement of a win mostly because keeping someone with a win who did not followed the rules was a bad precedent. I cannot speak for Mr. Morgan or Mr. Blackman in this specific case, however. Justa little history. |

Even if you do hear anything, you have a perfectly valid reason for not fixing the WGR etc, which I think the vast majority of members would totally appreciate. Certainly everyone in this thread does anyway.
Just because you can't put everything right doesn't mean you shouldn't go as far as is practical.
Having "Boomer's" name next to those wins (especially a flagship event like the Players) isn't good for anyone
