Let me take the time to thank Bryan again for his thoughts and tips.... when I read all this I put in the work and charted every club, then I charted against the wind and also how different wind variables affected each club... I spent many hours trying to figure all of that out.... I used to be absolutely terrified of any winds of over 8-10 mph...I worked on all this, tried my hand at many different tour rounds this week on the various tours, just testing how I was progressing... I even missed the Cut on my Web.com tour rounds this past week.... well I finally somewhat got the hang of it ...I started putting things together this week, tweaking here and there... started shooting double digit under par on most of the courses I was playing.... So I fired up my Web.com tour this week.... first round the winds were absolutely howling, but I trusted my numbers and ended up -10 second round high winds but feather soft... -12 third round, hard as rock greens and firmness was out of the roof.. -6 (should have been -9) but missed a few 8 foot putts for PAR..... fourth round, fast greens but somewhat soft firmness -12.... Overall -40 for the best I think I have ever shot on any tour even from my CC days... So to say taking the time to figure this all out works cant be overstated enough..Probably not enough for a win, but It felt good knowing no matter the conditions I was comfortable enough to shoot and shoot pretty well... With that said,, what are ya waiting fer? ? TRY IT Thanks Bryan...you da man.. Terry

Great tip. I have a lot of trouble seeing if the ball is slightly above/below my feet, this will definitely help a lot. Pro tip #2 Take out your putter (while on the fairway) - bring the aim marker all that way in to like 5 feet in front of you - use the putting camera and go to the ground - look at the putter blade from the front and back. If it's on a slope you'll see it much easier than using naked eye from default stance. This is priceless...thanks Doyley. Its the difference between an 6ft putt for birdie or a 12ft + putt.

Thanks for all the tips so far, Bryan. It's making a difference in my putting, especially. Appreciate you patience with the questions, as I, too, had problems understanding the putting tips - even after trying it out. Not sure if all these tips will still be valid once we migrate to TGC 2, but for now it's a BIG help. Thanks!

Can't really think of much more here, but I will give one more.
This one is tricky, and it should help you come tgc2 as well.
You need learn the partial power flop shot. Get back in your designer on that giant putting green and rather that lofting up the flop shot for that unknown amount of spin back, try the un-lofted partial power flop shot. This thing is gold once learned, no excessive spin, just drop and stop and tapin magic. Yeah this will take you a bit to get used to, but once you do, you are going to forget how you flopped any other way.
This would be my go to shot from 10 yards and out. The 9 iron chip takes care of business pretty good to 10 yards, the flop takes care of business till the pitch takes over, after that it's full clubs. Not 1 yardage gap sits in my bag, and no yardage gap should sit in yours.

Ditto on the 9 iron. I had countless chip in this week!!! Great tips boom boom. I feel like im reading super system by Doyle Brunson for the first time!(Poker reference) Im still a little confused by the putting. When you say you look for flat and level im lost. Unless you mean you follow the ball to where it will roll and then go to the opposite side that distance? Msybe its because the marker isnt in the correct position in the pic, but I just cant figure out what you are aiming at....
Thanks again for sharing these tips. These are def game changers.
Edit: Do you use all 3 clubs to flop depending on distance? Or just one and master its distance?

I'm just looking at the grid lines between the avatar and the hole. First move the marker out to the distance for the power you wish to hit the ball. Turn in the opposite direction of the break, when the lines go flat and level, make a note of how far you turned away from the hole. Now turn an equal distance back the other way on the other side of the hole. This is where you start. You need to now adjust depending on speed of green and whether or not the break is a consistent breaker.
This method is not a magic pill, but should get you making more putts.
I have super system on my book shelf.

Called grid lines and eye balls, but don't give me any ideas. But in all seriousness, and I know you were joking, i just start at that line, I always adjust from there depending, but i can go south quick in putting, or light the fckn thing up, I just never really know. Wish there was a better way, but that is what makes this game the best, the putting is second to none.

Iv seen chaoz tryin it and I think I understand it but im too set in my ways now to be makin drastic changes to my puttin. Might be a good technique for newcomers or ppl who struggle putting. It makes me a tad uneasy aswel tho, im not sure if id call it glitching but I wudn do it myself.

Feel a bit of a knobhead asking this but how do create a large green? Not being a course designer at all in anyway this is alien to me so your help would be great. I want the green for club mapping but am clueless. Thanks

Just my .02 cents, the putting tip is so awkward, I haven't tried it and don't plan on it, but this too me, is kinda like cheating the game. I mean who looks the opposite way to find the break for the other side. If this works consistently, and I'm guessing it does, it's just ridiculous.
