Spring is one of the best times of year. For us northerners, the weather is getting nice which means being able to grill out and drink beers next to bonfires. It means golf courses are opening up and March Madness brackets get busted in insane ways.
It also means that playoff hockey is here! Surely, I can't be the only one in here excited.

Chelsea Dagger ? Really.... . good song, made evil by an even more evil organization...
- disgruntled Wild Fan (3 straight losses to Chicago in playoffs)
* Good news, we wont have to worry about losing to you this year... We are DOA vs Dallas

It sucks you guys lost Parise going into the playoffs. You guys were going to have a tough enough time with Dallas even if you had him.

I fear for short stays in the playoffs for both the Red Wings and Pistons, but thank goodness it's April and they are both still playing. It's been too many years since I've been able to say that.

Chicago vs. Pittsburgh in the finals I think. It's difficult to call though. Most teams entering playoffs has a chance. At least in West. Would love to see Florida go far as well. Not cause I like the franchise, but they have an interesting team.

There's no playoff hockey in Canada this year.
You're welcome America.

What a crazy goal vs the Wild... Not saying the Wild deserved to win, it was a 50/50 game, but ZERO puck luck.

How about them Predators winning the first two games in Anaheim...

How about them Predators winning the first two games in Anaheim... Not a huge surprise. Record wise not that far off, and the Central is a beast division. I suspect the Central Wildcard (Nash) might come out of the Pacific division to the Western Conf finals. Plus the preds have played really well the past 90 days after a slow start. The Kings saw this coming as I would have rather played San Jose than Nashville. Although that has not really working out for LA either.

True, there's a reason the Central is called the #Thunderdome division. It's no question the Pacific bracket is the easier of the two to go through. Even still, winning the opening 2 games on the road in the playoffs is no small task.

Wow, the Hawks looked atrocious last night. This isn't the first time they've been down 3-1 in a series in recent years but my confidence isn't very high right now. The Blues just simply seem to want it more. Frustrating to watch.

Agreed - not that it mattered, but NO IDEA how Crawford and the Hawks came away with a power play after Crawford went nuts in the corner to start that fight. That is 2 for roughing for each and a 2 minute instigator for Crawford in my book...

Completely agree. At best, it should have been a wash (Fabbri should not have gotten interference). These were the penalties called for it: - (Blues) Fabbri interference - (Hawks) Ladd roughing - (Blues) Pietrangelo roughing - (Blues) Shattenkirk roughing - (Hawks) Crawford roughing Also, Shaw's antics at the end of the game were embarrassing. Obviously, he was frustrated by stuff like this that don't get called but that's still not an excuse: streamable.com/feyw
