Played it a few hours already. Very well done. Beta isn't that deep (just one mission and then side missions) but you can see the potential for sure.
Taking me a bit of time to get used to the gun play. I've not been a huge fan of 3rd person perspective in shooters. And it takes a lot of bullets to put down enemies.
Other than that, feels like a really solid game so far.

I've pre ordered it as it was why I bought the PS4 after watching the development trailer. Yeah the Beta is somewhat limited but its PRETTY. The taster main mission sells it to me. Cant wait for full release as it could stop me playing Diablo and Golf.( Nah, it wont stop the golf. TGC TOURS has made it too good a game.)

Im pretty pumped for this game. Splurged on the Gold edition!!! If you want to try I think there's going to be an open beta next week. I also watched a bunch of the beta vids on youtube, and now I can't wait!!!

I plan to download it. I probably won't get a whole lot of time playing, but would love to join up with a few friendly faces. I played the other beta and it's not a game to go alone in for sure.

I'm only about 30min into this game so far, but damn... this is looking really nice & promising.

Ive played about 3 hrs of the open beta at the weekend. Must say I loved every minute of it. I played on my own and joined up with a friend for an hour.
The Dead zone seems a bit crazy and mad, sometimes like a gun fest. This could get way out of control in the full game...after a while I noticed that when entering the DZ I could hear the gun fights happening before I even entered the ZONE.
I think if your going to get into this game you need to start from day one of release I get the feeling if you dont you`ll be left behind and left for dead as a low leveler unless you have a group/clan to protect you.
Id love to get this on release but i also think you need time for this game and its going to be huge and time inst what i have, with family and of course golf!

Ya, I put in some hours this weekend and like you I had a blast. Thursday was kind of a sh%$ show, just getting my bearings and getting my ass handed to me by randoms. The key is to group with people (safety in numbers), and I actually found that hooking up with randoms was relatively easy to do and for the most part people were friendly. For some reason I couldn't join friends games either. Last night I was in a posse of 6-8 guys and we were just hunting rogues for a couple hours. Great Fun, preordered the Gold edition! |
