This is only 3'rd person view right.
2 things held me back from getting this, no single player, which I see now you can play it single player.
and the 3'rd person view...if someone tells me you can change it to 1'st person I'm in. Graphics look amazing and would love to try it. Just not sure I would like the 3'rd person crap.
Back to Far Cry Primal for now. Will keep looking at this thread though.

Not got this yet, was really excited before it came out but watching some streams has made me question that... Just not a fan of having to shoot someone in the head 20 times before they go down. I'm in the same boat right now.  In addition to that, I just don't have the/enough time to group with other people on a regular basis (not even talking about clan-based gaming as I was used to play years ago). And I'm not sure (anymore) if it really makes sense then to get that game. Damn! |

I had wanted it from when I first heard about it, but then I saw all these videos about backstabbing other players and things like that. That doesn't interest me, so I didn't get it. But I found out there was single player mode, so that's what sold me on it.

I'm like both of you.. groups don't really interest me, but loving the single player aspect of this.. so much better than I hoped for.

- squad up with story missions
- dont sell guns/gear, turn everything in to parts and craft craft craft. Even if the blueprints you have now are garbage crafting becomes more important once you are dealing in only specialized weaponry.
- Build your filter level up. there is good loot in contaminated areas
Gotta do DZ best loot is there if you go to a busy extraction point you'd be fine even as lone wolf. rogues know they'd get wrecked

Can you squad up on the Base of Operation mission? I didn't see a way to do that.

you can squad up at home base and galavant the world. or you can squad up on a specific mission. most of the time i just open my party if someone joins swell and if no one joins when i get to mission just quick match
