Just curious what everyone thinks the cut off scores will be for both the US and europe tours.

After playing the practice tours I've found that nobody is a lock to make it. Even though I finished Top20 in both beta events...I shot -1 total in the Q-school practice tour. Just way too many double bogeys, quadruple bogeys, etc. One bad shot can lead to a huge blow up score. Putting a little off and you can expect only a few birdies. I wasn't nervous until I practiced...now I'm going in with no confidence

It's gonna be tough. I can see me rage quitting once or twice so I can calm down.
I really think some people's nerves are going to be their downfall.
I managed a -18 in decent winds (3 - 14mph), including a pair of -7's on Kodiak and Crawford. As usual Copper Creek and Son Gual killed me.

Agree it will be about nerves and not getting carried away. While playing Q-School Practice tour I opened up with a -5 on Mt. Yeti and thus far I'm +8 with one course to play. Son Gual and Copper Creek absolutely slaughtered me

I just finished -13 on the practice tour and could have shot a few better. There is such a gap with the top players and everyone else that only a few have a chance to win each tourney.

If you're in the top qualifying group I'd have to agree there's just some guys us mere mortals can't match it with who are consistently amazing, unless we play that game of our life which would be exciting. For me it could go either way and i could qualify or end up well over par so I'm very uncertain about where I'll end up

The more I play TGC the more I realize that it is a lot like RL golf. Sure, shot-making is important but scrambling is more important. Shooting birdies and eagles are great but nothing blows a round up faster than a bogey or higher. If you can go bogey-free on a tough course like Son Gual then that means you are scrambling well. That will make all the difference in Q-School.

I can't comment on the cutoff, but my guest for an aggregate winning score for all six courses will be in the neighborhood of -45 to -50. I expect Son Gual to have the highest scoring average followed closely by Kodiak and Copper Creek. Don't be surprised to see sub 60 rounds on Whispering River, Crawford Mines, and Mount Yeti (wind notwithstanding) quite frequently as those are the gettable courses in the rotation.
I would LOVE to see the telemetry data from Son Gual, specifically the GIR % and Scrambling statistics as those should proportionally reflect the output of scores for this course. Strokes gained putting would be nice too.
To answer the post though, I guess I would make an educated guess that -10 there about would be the cutoff for PGA status.

Maybe with all you guys being so nervous I might earn a web.com card. Because I'm certainly not nervous. I'll play my best game and expect to be on the Champions Tour. Anything better than that is gravy to me.

I think a score as low as even par could make the cut depending upon the actual number of participants. While I truly believe the upper echelon players could easily reach 44-50 under par given the right winds and how "on" they are on that given time, the bulk of qualifying players will probably be much lower. These courses demand a lot of patience and there are a ton of "blow-up holes" that could light up some score cards. For giggles, I attempted a marathon session on the q-school practice tour. I made it to the back nine on Kodiak (81 consecutive holes) before I couldn't tell the difference between a flagstick and a tree and had to quit. It was mentally grueling. That'll be another factor in how people score - whether they space out the rounds over the q-school window or go for the grind. I would not recommend the latter. managed to shoot -27 on my return to the PGA Tour Weekly tourneys (S2 W10) rounds of 61, 69 and 59. Nice, but not really relevant to the thread topic. Try the shoutbox.
