Also players will know winning Q-School means nothing, all I will be doing is posting a score that gets me on either the PGA or Europe tour, their is no need for me to try and post the absolute lowest number I possibly can.

While the low score for the q school won't matter they will for the regular season. There is probably 10 players on all 3 platforms that have a chance to win each week.

So in other words, If you shoot par or above, its almost not even worth playing the Q-School at all ? Only reason I ask is why bother going through it If you pretty much know you couldn't make the cut anyways ? I asked this before, but never really got a solid answer. Sort of like a weather report, more of a forecast of what the cutoff might be .

However, why miss a bet? You might get lucky and get a web.com tour card. And if you don't, well, you tried.
I expect to be on the Champions Tour, but I am still going to play in the Q-School because it is possible I'll get lucky and get a card. And if not, then there's no disappointment. I'm right where I expected to be.

I'm going to give it a shot, it just would be nice to know what to shoot for, as far as risk/rewards go. Just for a quick example, Copper Creek is my worst course, in the last week I've played from +12 to -2 . Thats quite a range, and a lot of it came from trying to get better scores, and maybe just dumb luck..

The best way I've found, for me, is to try to get par. If I can get birdie or even better yet an eagle, great. But the goal is not to bogey or worse. Play conservatively. If you're iffy on whether to go with the driver or 3 wood, go with the 3. Don't try to hit every par 5 green in 2. A par 5 in 2 is nice, but sometimes attempting that will leave you in a worse spot than laying up and taking a longer shot in. But most importantly, HAVE FUN. If you aren't having fun, then why even do it?

Probably should know but after 250, how many go in the web.com tour?

I'm almost certain it's the next 200 to the web.com tour, Mitch.

So the likelihood of me putting together -10 or -20 at qschool is a massive gamble when, par I could cruise to. I might play a practice round and force myself to take safe shots see the difference overall.

You're a good player, snap. I've been playing with your ghost on the Q school warm up tour. I'm too aggressive also. That and the dead block slice at the most inopportune time with the driver and I'm a triple bogey waiting to happen sometimes.

I'm the same every now and then I just can't shoot straight, other times I just can't miss. I shot five over and five under on beta hard tourney. I think for me it might be more about knowing which holes to play for par on. Slowly getting there.

Practice rounds are very different to the actual thing, or at least I hope it will be.

My goal isn't to win Q-School, I just want to qualify for a PGA/European Tour Card
