I totally agree with you I jumped right in to q school and played through it with no practice on the courses. I finished +1 and just made it into A at the time, they have changed it since and that score now would have me in Web. I finished even par when I did Q-School last week but got put into CC-A, is that due to it being near the end of the season? A/B is my level so I'm fine with it, just wondering. I'm not sure. I think going forward to really gauge the talent they should have 2 semi easy course, 2 med difficult, and 3 hard. That way if gives a better result for talent level. Us real CC players are likely to score in the low 60's and sometimes 59's on the easy course, but the better players would fair better, i.e. 58, 57. The on the Med ones you would see the scores from the real CC level rise to say 66-68, while the better players would be 61-63, and of course the hard courses would be closer to even par or above for us and the better players are likely to shoot a little lower. In the end you hope that the better players kill it on the easy to med course and play as they would on the more challenging courses so that they hopefully would be slotted in the right tour. Does this make sense?

Can anyone tell me if you get DQ if you don't play first two round before todays deadline even if there is no cut on CC?

Hopefully the lads will sort it all out feng at the end so the playing fields are fair, I'd personally like them to average all current tour players scoring from when they joined and categorize them into seperate tours based on their ability. I'd also like to see all new people coming in off q-school be put into a seperate tour for a couple of events to work out what level they're at because like many are saying on this forum some people rushed q-school or had a couple of bad holes or rounds and lost the head and casually played the remainder of their rounds without caring, which leaves us with the problem we are seeing now I'm assuming. Ps I'm not having a go at the creators they have done a great job setting up Tgc tours and it makes a great game even better so well done :-) Yeah I agree. the problem is Q school is supposed to be the early tour, but the problem is the courses are too tough to start out in. I know I mailed it in after my 3rd round and was just beside myself. I had never played as hard of courses as I did on the Q. I had only played the HB tours and tourneys and thought I was decent. Q school took me by surprise. I ended up playing the last 3 rounds just to get it over with. the easy, med, hard 6 round set up might help really hone in on ability level and place people where they need to be placed.

Yeah totally agree q-school was very tough especially as I was not familiar with any of the courses. I think I'm at the level now where I should be in web but obviously can't go up just yet coz I can't use my exemption. if I had been dumped in web straight away I probably wouldn't have been able to compete as the first few weeks in cca I really struggled and couldn't get near the top now for 2 out of the last 3 I've been in the top 5.I think they need to let more lads into the higher tours automatically after a win or top 5 and then from 5th to 10th get an exemption maybe?? I don't know just thought I'd throw it out there see what people think

Yeah I thought the same thing. After a win you should at least have the option of Auto-Move up to Web. If you win 2 or 3 times then you are automatically moved to Web. I get that this tour has exploded over the last 9 months and the number of people who are on the tours is crazy. But I think we are at a point where next season we need to look at how we are slotting people, and maybe take in account average scores as well.

If you win you'll play an exemption on web.com If you can't compete on that exemption you'll stay in CC-A. Maybe you're not ready, maybe you just had a bad day. If you win 3 times on CC-A then that's 3 web.com exemption opportunities blown. Definitely not ready rather than 3 bad days....

As far as I know you can play all 4 rounds just before the final deadline and you are fine, but if you don't submit any scores for the week and don't withdraw you will be DQ'd. Not 100% sure on this as they could have changed it, think the 2 round deadline is just for the tours with cuts.

Yeah it's a tough one but if you are good enough to win 3 times on A and fail with the exemption but are still good enough to obliterate the field in A then there is something wrong. The current leader has 4 wins for instance and I'm not sure how he fared on his exemptions, he probably hasn't been able to take a couple over the playoffs. If you are good enough to win on A you can compete on the web, maybe multiple winners should be given longer to find their feet on exemptions.

Only 2 of those wins have been on CC-A and unfortunately they've occurred in the last few weeks during the web.com finals which mean promotions from CC-A have not been possible. Don't worry, I fully expect him to become a web.com problem after the CC Tournament in a couple of weeks!

Don't worry, I fully expect him to just become a web.com problem after the CC Tournament in a couple of weeks! Ah ok, i didnt realise some of his wins were not on A i just clicked into his profile and saw 4 trophies. My original point to some of the guys in here that are getting disheartened by such low scoring at the top of the leaderboard, the field is so strong now mainly due to the top players not being able to take up their exemptions. I haven't been near the top anyway so it doesn't really effect me, I have been struggling just to get rid of a demotion strike and am hoping -38 will be enough this week as standards are so high

CC-A is currently playing to a standard that will be web worthy in the new season. Rumours of about 100 odd web cards being dished out means the majority of CC-A will be in web. I should imagine Garrity will be pushing for a pga/euro card soon into the new season. I wouldn't worry about it guys.

I would think so Chris. The CC Championships is in a couple of weeks and there will be a good chance to move up to Web then anyway.
