Hello to the members of 'A' flight. I'm up here for the first time on a sponsors exemption. I saw winds of anywhere from 5-8 to 9-13 mph for the 4 rounds(PS4). I played with the new patch and on one hole, the wind was 2-4mph and swirling around in circles. I've never seen that before. I also saw some inconsistencies with how side hill lies react that I've never experienced before either. With the ball above my feet (I'm a righty) I had multiple shots shoot out to the right instead of taking a hook action (and opposite on a downhill lie). That's very troubling. Anybody else experience these things? I know. It has happened to me as well. I thought maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me or maybe my swing was not straight, but still haven't figured it out as of yet. The only possible other cause could be wind, i know that sounds weird but the game seems to add wind affects right away to the shot, so if you have a lie above your feet, and the wind is left to right, that might cause the ball to move over there right away. I'll have to do some experimenting with that to see if that is the case. I know with chipping it is.

On exemption this week in CC-A. Was a disappointing first round for me with -4, -10 on rounds 2 & 3 put me at -24 with one round remaining, last round was played after patch and happy with a -8 in what was tougher winds for a total of -32. Enough to stay in CC-A? Time will tell. Really enjoyed this one (well I really enjoy them all to be honest!!)

Well, just qualified for this tour last week and shot a -36 after four rounds. I think that's pretty good for it being my first tournament. Hopefully they'll be some harder courses in the future.

Welcome to tgctours. The courses on the challenge circuit vary a lot because of all the different levels of players. Some will be harder but if you keep playing like this, you will be moving up soon, well played.

-47 and losing by 5 to the leader on PS4.......... Don't really know what else to say besides that I might have left 5 strokes out there lol
Easy course and easy winds helped me get to low numbers. Can't complain with my score but damn I thought I'd be a little closer to the top after that! Haha still hopefully a top 5... Should be anyways. ☺

This was a disappointing tournament for me. I played one practice round and found the course really setup well for me. I had fairly mild 5-10 mph wind and shot -11 in my practice round, so I went ahead and started the tournament (tour).
Right off the bat things went sideways (often literally) when the wind was not just stronger (between 10-18 mph for all four rounds), but it seemed to always be different directions from round to round and I didn't adjust well enough. Regardless, the conditions should were calm enough that I shouldn't have had as much problems as I did. It was particularly frustrating that on the one of the longer par 4s on the back nine, that with the strong headwinds a perfect drive and 3 wood were still short of the green.
Worst moment I've had playing on this tour was in the second round, on the third hole I believe. It's the par 4 with a large pond on the left. Out of no where, I snap hooked two consecutive tee shots right into the water. My third tee shot then went way right into the bunker, giving a nice 40%-60% lie. My shot out of the bunker was well short of the green and I couldn't get up and down... so I carded a 9. To be +4 after only three holes put me in a funk that I couldn't really get out of. I did manage to make it back to -2 for the round, but the damage was done.
Third and fourth rounds were a bit better, and I believe I ended up -25 overall, but my goal was at least -30 at this course so I'm a bit frustrated by how it went. Oh well, no exemptions are on the line so I doesn't really matter I guess until the Championship where the Web cards are up for grabs. Hopefully these random hooks/slices will be gone by then.

Don't care how easy the course is, that isn't an easy score to get! Leader on xbox is at -48, although don't think they're in CC-A at least (SweetAeromotion), can't believe someone could score that low on xbox though with the winds this week for us. Personally went -8,-9,-8,-11 ... pretty happy with the 4th round score in the 16 mph winds which was 2nd on xbox for the round, definitely one of my better ones so far. Hopefully the xbox patch comes before the CC championship, don't need to be fighting an uphill battle on that one

I am PGA, so don't worry about my scores affecting the outcome of any CC tier. I had just gotten an XBox1 and those were among my first rounds on it and I was trying to get used to the XB1 controller by getting in some practice. I hope the patch does come soon as well so the fields are as close as can be again.
