Ok, I think HB's messing with us. Here are your winds for ALL FOUR ROUNDs: 10-12mph. Yup, you heard it hear first! All four rounds with consistent low double digit speeds. The first two rounds play the Isla Resaca CC course and the last two play the regular Isla Resaca course.
I have been practicing both courses all week while averaging -8 (with a peak of -13) on the CC course and -5 on the non-CC version (with a peak of -8). So as you can imagine, I was pretty bummed when I carded a 70 in the first round. But then I miraculously got my act together and pulled out a 61 in the second round. The second round had the lowest winds at 10mph. The others all hovered around 12 mph most of the time.
I'm beyond delighted that i strung together dual 65's to finish my tournament, seeing as I only eclipsed that mark once in practice. Excited to be competing in CC-B as a card-holding member finally. Though my 261 will surely not be good enough to take a top 10 score, it should still be relatively competitive. Good luck to all this week and enjoy the moderate winds!

Well done on the score and thanks for the heads up on wind strength. Shouldn't be too bad.

I am about to be demoted to cc-b this week, just waiting for that email tomorrow telling me the bad news. I most say say it is unfair and unjustified. There is no way I could have lipped out so many putts, or have my ball stop a inch short with out someone tampering with my equipment. And lo and behold, after I had finished my 4 rounds at Mistwood, I discovered someone had slightly deflated my golf balls. I appealed to the course officials to remove my last strike but they said since I did not know who did this and had no evidence on who did it, the strike will stand. I considered quitting the tour in protest but instead will play on here in cc-b and will not leave this person beat me. On positive note about my rounds at Mistwood, Tom Brady came to watch me play and signed all my golf balls before my rounds, what a very nice man.
Anyway, enough about cc-a. You see I have issues with a certain member on the cc-b, a certain man from Scotland that goes by the name Kenny. Let me tell you a story about this Kenny. Kenny thought this was called The Gold Club, where he would learn how to mine for gold in the mountains of the highlands theme courses and make his fortune. I found him wandering a course, looking lost and confused so being the gentleman I am, I took him under my wing and taught him the game. I told him the difference between a iron and wood, I explained to him that it was lower score that was needed to win and I won't mention the troubles we had getting him to understand ball squirts true meaning. But over months of blood, sweat and tears, Kenny learned the game and all was well.
It started slowly, small things, like him laughing at the way I pronounce 33, the smirk on his face when I hit water, hell, last night he looked he won the lottery when I hit the water 4 times on the one hole. The final betrayal though, Kenny became a better golfer than me and won't tell me his secrets. So before I get demoted again and before Kenny gets promoted, I am calling Kenny out. Just you and me Kenny, 4 rounds of golf on Isla Resaca, let's truly see who the master is. Bring every thing you got because I will be waiting with a few surprises of my own, it begins!

Brilliant Dan!! Me better than you? As Kenny Dalglish used to say "maybe's aye, maybe's naw" it just depends who's on form as you well know. I recall a certain Irishman going on a very impressive birdie run this week and wiping the floor with his playing partners!!! It's all good, I'm absolutely loving this game, our late night rounds, the work the guys do on this site to enhance the game is incredible (big thanks from me) and whether I'm playing well or playing poorly doesn't matter, it's damn good fun trying!! So as for the gauntlet thrown down before me, it is duly accepted, however I suspect this will be far from easy!! Welcome to CC-B Dan and good luck. ⛳️

I saw MrKuo's posting of wind speeds and thought...not bad. First 2 rounds matched...then I step up to the tee on 1 in my 3rd round and I've got a 14mph cross wind. Something's off

This course is an absolute joke. Very poor choice. I quite liked it, hit -14 in practise. Failed in the real tourney though. ?

Thanks to the round reset glitch I lost a 62 (-10) on the first round and will have to submit a 66 (-6) since I wasn't focused at all on the 2nd round 1 I was playing. Can't wait for those four strokes to cost me my promotion...

Something's off 14mph winds both rounds 3 & 4 Doesn't appear as if we are being listened too. Another very poor choice of course too. Disappointing.

Something's off I should screen shot the winds like I screen shot my scores for memory' sake. Maybe I'm just forgetting? I should dig up my Steam chat with Jared- I messaged him with the wind speed at the beginning of each new round.
