I'm actually in CC-C, but I decided to play this tour while waiting. Putting has and always will be my Achilles heel (that and apparently ball squirts landing me directly into a bunker right before long water carries). Shot 61, 66, 69, 59 for -33, which is by far my lowest 4 round score and it doesn't even count, haha! Second round had a fair number of lip outs, but can't be too upset other than having a first bogey on the 18th. The third round I had a triple bogey on the first par 5 on the back (#11?) due to my second shot burying me in the bunker right before the carry and trying something stupid and attempting to carry over the water. The hole went about as far south after that -- concluding with a 3 putt from 70 ft. What's crazy is the fourth round I shot a 59 (13 birdies, 0 bogeys) and I still had 5 lip outs (4 of them within 10 feet, and the eagle putt on #3 from about 20 ft). Got to get better at putting if I ever want to make it up here. I think I've gotten used to the high winds from the CC tours though... With scores like that you will be by passing the web tour pretty quickly mate. Good scoring

I gave myself a chance at a top 10 going into the final round, but I blew it. Finished up at -29, with a very disappointing final round 63 (should've been around 58). I must've missed 4-5 putts within 7ft, along with several mid range that burnt the edges.

Per the Rules (front page)You may lose your tour card if: •You do not register for a tournament for 5 consecutive weeks. (without notifying commish@tgctours.com as to a valid reason for your absence). - Listed as DNP•You are disqualified (for any reason including not finishing a tournament) from 5 consecutive events. - Listed as DQ•You are disqualified from 8 tournaments within a single season. - DQ Sorry guys, we're really lagging behind keeping the rules updated. The above bullet points are no longer current/in effect. We switched to a 2 DQ's in a row = 1 week suspension as well as 4 weeks straight of DNP = inactive player
Just to confirm though - the top 10 to get pro cards will all be active players - inactive players will be skipped.

Thus, Haga will be classed as inactive this week and Tim Fox will if he doesn't register for this coming week meaning both will miss out. Any reason why Tim Fox has no WGR Doyley?

All this stuff makes my head hurt, all I know for a fact, I'm getting rather tired of playing Field Stone.

-32 overall for me. That first round seems like a distant memory.
Had a 7 after hitting not one but two balls in the water on the Par 3 16th in my 3rd round which didn't help. Looks like Nate has got it in the bag, congrats!

See you in next week's tournament!

Here is a very "rough" estimate of how things should shake out after things are posted tomorrow. Needless to say things have changed A LOT since "after Round 2". It is going to be chaos next week at or near the top 10. Haga in? Haga Out? Fox in? Fox Out? As of this week Haga is inactive. After next week Fox "might" be inactive. Yours Truly (Nic Zaiser) flushed about 16K worth of cash on the weekend, all of which (plus some) was sifted from my toilet into Andy Tracy's wallet... THIS IS a guestimate, give or take $800 dollars one way or another, but Tracy will move up 2 spots, and possible 3. Zaiser not only wont overtake Schlegel, he "may" drop behind Tracy. It is literally within a hundred dollars or so. The big dropper "might" be Tom Jones, but he still has rounds to play. For those who have not yet finished I estimated their finish based on scoring averages in rounds already played. if they play like they did on Thur/Fri/Sat, then that is where they will finish. IF FOX goes inactive, I have it as follows with one week left. These are estimates ONLY but should be pretty close. Remember Tom Jones (10th) has 1 rd yet to play. Bill Owensby has 2 rounds to play and a very slim chance of winning replacing Nate Sooter on this list in 14th. Remember, next week is a lesser paying event as well. 108,000 for 1st. 65,000 for 2nd. 5 other players (not listed anywhere in this summary) are active and should be within 108K of 10th spot as well. Booth, Froese, Some, Lemons, and Groom.

See you in next week's tournament! I'd forgot about the bogey on 10 also in the 3rd round where I put it in the water. Unfortunately I get too aggressive in the shot making or over-compensate on wind with draw/fade and this what happens. Instead of thinking birdie I'm scrambling for a bogey (or a 7). On the 16th tee however I knew I was one shot behind you and thought I could easily birdie one of the last 3. How wrong was I! Hahaha. Hopefully you do well next week and add to the excitement of making the top 10. I'll just coast through to the finals in a couple of weeks. All these stats you guys produce are awesome so keep em coming.

Nate, I want to congratulate you on what looks like a victory. You came up one short a couple of weeks back, but a good player will eventually rise to the top. Congrats!

To finish my last two rounds, (to quote Ice Cold Lisa, some will remember her) I had to play 'speed golf' to finish this week, due to tax deadlines here at work. It sucks when life gets in the way of fun. It was a disaster. -7 for the final two rounds. For those of you who play real golf, you know the saying that if you make your first putt, the hole gets bigger and if you miss, it is the size of a teacup. Well, I missed early and often. I missed at least 15 putts inside of 10'.
Can one get the ' yips' in a video golf game?
Andy, if you are around, I have been impressed with your play in the various competitions we are in together. Keep it up!
Anyway congrats to all and on to next week.
