Well, I closed well and finished:
66-67-65-61 = -29
Feels good to move up and have a respectable showing. Good luck to all still on the course!

LOL I've been found out! Now, that won't prevent me from trying to perform to earn it, I just won't be sad if I end up outside top 10 **Read the following paragraph, either out loud or in your head, with a John Madden tone of voice**: Here's a guy who welcomes, and seems to thrive in pressure situations. HuhHuh... earlier today I overheard this guy say he DOESN'T want to finish inside the top 10, which would guarantee him a permanent spot in the big leagues next year. This guy's hoping he doesn't get one of those spots, just so he can CREATE a pressure situation for himself. HuhHuh, this guy's either crazy or confident in his skillset! Either way Pat, I think we'll be in for some exciting action outta this guy in the weeks to come. I have no doubt you'll be earning your PGA Tour card for next season Nate... seems like you have what it takes to compete with the big dogs. I plan on joining you, and hope to be in contention for a few wins on the PGA next season. In order to do so, I've gotta figure out a way to get more consistent on the greens to have any chance at multiple PGA Tour wins. First things first, I've gotta go dig myself outta the rut I put myself into for the first 2 rounds of this tourney lol.

Appreciate the kind words. Definitely hoping to be on the PGA day one of next season and I expect to see you up there as well. Agreed that the PGA is another level of golf in this game if you want to get into the T-10. The scores they put up on tough courses are still many strokes better than me per round. I consider it to be motivation!

I hear they've got turkey for those in the top 10, Pat. I mean huh huh who doesn't like turkey?

That's because if you hit the ball less, you finish ahead of those who hit the ball more. So you want to hit the ball less (huh huh)

Am I the only one who doesn't have fun when the winds are nearly 10+ mph for every single round? It just isn't fun. finally one person seeing it like I do , just no fun

I'm actually in CC-C, but I decided to play this tour while waiting. Putting has and always will be my Achilles heel (that and apparently ball squirts landing me directly into a bunker right before long water carries). Shot 61, 66, 69, 59 for -33, which is by far my lowest 4 round score and it doesn't even count, haha!
Second round had a fair number of lip outs, but can't be too upset other than having a first bogey on the 18th. The third round I had a triple bogey on the first par 5 on the back (#11?) due to my second shot burying me in the bunker right before the carry and trying something stupid and attempting to carry over the water. The hole went about as far south after that -- concluding with a 3 putt from 70 ft. What's crazy is the fourth round I shot a 59 (13 birdies, 0 bogeys) and I still had 5 lip outs (4 of them within 10 feet, and the eagle putt on #3 from about 20 ft). Got to get better at putting if I ever want to make it up here.
I think I've gotten used to the high winds from the CC tours though...
