I'm confident -11 will make the cut for you. Speaking of which, CLAY - play your rounds, I cant leave the edge of my seat in anticipation. I think you've got me this week after my sub-optimal play in the first two rounds. Now I'm sitting at -8 and on the edge of my seat in anticipation of the cut line.

Here is my version of where everyone stands. I will try and keep it updated over the next 6 rounds... The money earned are estimates based on previous tourneys with this prize pool (800K). If it holds everyone would move (either up or down) that is competing for a top 10. Of note, Getting to 290K is pry enough to get you a top 10 spot. Clay is close already, Nic can get there if he remains in top 10 pos this week. Jason Keppel is going to be interesting. He is going to be really close after next week. If he were to post 2 top 5 finishes (currently 5th this week), he would finish around 274K. That could be right around where Tom Jones and Andy Tracy finish up (272-280K). Now, Jesse Young or Martel pull a win (or even 2nd place) in the last two week and everything changes.

I would seriously hope that the Admins put in the diligence for inactives here that they did for the PGA/Euro tours.
You guys deserve it!

I've noticed the winners share is $144,000 this week. James Morgan or Nate Sooter could sneak into contention with a win here after their first two rounds. They are both already on $80,000 odd.

I know the focus is on the top 10 for now as that is the safety net, but I think the Webby Finals will send the deserving up to the PGA/Euro ranks.

Yea completely agree. I think Sooter will pry win based on earlier posts, but we shall see. If Keppel were to win, or even move up to 2nd this week, he is pry in. I was going to wait and add them after this week as 144K (or even 86K (2nd) , or 54K (3rd) would be a huge bump for anyone. The money at the top (top 10) drops off pretty quickly, so going from 5th to 3rd makes a big difference.

Oh I agree, this is more fun than angst (that is a lie). I would hope everyone in the top 25 in Web Money earns their card in finals. The vast majority should without an issue. I would much rather enjoy the Web Finals though then worry about my results.

Overall I am quite impressed with the quality of players in the Web. There are 10+ consistent standouts and I cannot imagine there are any better players on PGA or Euro tours. Seems the difference is in the quantity of good players but it doesn't get much better than this.

In real life the top 25 get in don't they? Wonder why TGCT have gone for top 10? Not knocking it, just curious.

Same issue with the Fed Ex top 125 this year. The last person in for Fed Ex was WAY WAY down the list. I mean like 10 web players would have made it if not skipped. (as they should have been).

I made it in with one pretty decent PGA event if that puts it in perspective.

What a maddeningly frustrating couple of rounds with the Putter this week. I couldn't sink a putt from any distance, leaving everything between 2ft or 0ft tap-ins hole after hole. If I had less than 30 putts per round this event, I would be shocked. After closing out in style in round 2: double, bogey, bogey, I suspect my weekend plans will open up Similar results here... 26 and 30 putts for round 1 & 2. I'm usually money with the flatstick, probably averaging about 23-25 putts per round lately. I just can't get the correct speed/break ratio figured out on these greens. I couldn't buy a putt in the 6-12ft or 20-40ft range. The only thing that kept my scores respectable is making a bunch of 15 footers, usually for par lol. I think I easily made the cut, but I'll have to shoot some incredible weekend scores to crack the top 15, which is now my goal.

I actually hope to be outside the top 10 since playing four tournaments to qualify for the PGA tour sounds FUN! Though if I end up top 10 I'll be happy since the end goal is to have a PGA card anyway. We shall see!
