Just shot an even par 72 practice round. I know this may not sound like much...but as a CC-E player that has been struggling my ass off...I had to brag about my PB round

Oh man, in rounds that the winds are high, this is going to be a brutal course. In light winds, I managed -6 while playing safe off the tee. Got bit by a few 95% shots (which landed me in a green-side bunker whenever it occurred during the front 9 holes) and had a few putts go over the edge of the cup. For most holes I found little inconvenience opting for a 3-wood or 5-wood over a driver, and unless there is a strong headwind, I will probably keep it that way during the tournament. Fairway bunkers might as well be water hazards on this course.

It is tough in the higher winds..best round I've had in around 10-12mph winds is a 75..I haven't broken par here even in winds of 6-8 mph..but I do like that the greens bite if you fire one close to the stick.

Fourth try on this course and I finally shot an even par 72. Talk about having to pay attention to ever shot. Personally, I don't like this course very much. The number and position of the traps off the tee seem to be too severe, almost to the point where a lay up isn't even feasible. But I'm curious. Why, all of a sudden, do we find on the Challenge Circuit, which does not include the elite players, courses that are rated as "Hardest"? It would seem to me that for the type of players on the CC, the courses shouldn't exceed medium difficulty or hard at the most extreme. But hardest seems a bit excessive to me. Just my $.02 Mike

Just my $.02 Mike I asked the same question. Apparently all courses start our as easiest until they get more plays. Once more people play it and scores start appearing it will rank up all the way to Hardest. I've played a few of the PGA and Web courses the past few weeks and found them easier than what we've had to endure. Well..by easy I mean I could at least score in the mid 70's every round. The wind fix has made us in the lower levels of CC almost an after thought..

I'll just say this again, as I found myself repeatedly saying this when I was picking courses for the Web.com tour. There is a feedback thread that I created today that is collecting dust: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/4315/get-involved-community-course-selectionIn it I explain how the demand for harder courses and the wind fix both hit at the same time, making the courses overhard. I've given the opportunity to help contribute courses to a pool that I can pick from for the CC tour for the next month or two. Yet just like the Web guys, there is a big long thread complaining about one course, but when given the opportunity to contribute I get nothing but crickets. At a certain point I have to think that people are going to complain just to complain.

I take it the 2 courses after Hau'oli Mino'aka are already set in stone (Fraxinus Country Club and Le Golf National) As for the rest of the tour dates I will certainly play around a few courses that fit location and theme criteria and give some feedback

I tried to do my part lol That thread needs to be stickied at the top its already sliding down near the bottom of the page. And policed to keep the natterings out of it. There are plenty of other threads to discuss the courses.

Half the time I read the course name and hear.... Which is ironic considering this course is a bear.

What's the best score so far on the XB1 and the PS4?
After practicing this course about a dozen times, with a median score of +1 or so (and scoring as poorly as +10 or so), I finally made a break through and got -6. Tied with 2 others for second behind a -7 by Gdog.
I went through a rut since my Thousand Island playthrough where 50% of my shots were inexplicably veering to the right, rather than my usual 10% or so. I've found that that getting a straight line shot, or at least close to one, requires so much consistency that my mood from one day to the next can really affect the swing. Anyone else feel this way?

What's the best score so far on the XB1 and the PS4? As of last night it was -7 on XB1. Edit: Just checked and it's -9.
