Foxy Fairways - Not Approved
This one is not a bad course, but there are a few elements that kept me away from appoving it.
The course is missing a lot of terrain work, smoothing the edges, some of the mounds in the ground are vey severe
The bunkering. Simply put, the bunkers are placed overlapping several surfaces and with no sculpting at all.
Solve those issues, and the course is good

question guys, how did this course get approved? www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/19093ive not played it, but from those 3 photos (prolly the best angles the photographer could find) it shows sculpting to be pretty bad, with the bottoms of the bunkers being higher than surrounding rough, unrealistic undulations, etc etc. thanks in advance.

I just checked the course submissions and it doesn't show it as being reviewed yet?

I just checked the course submissions and it doesn't show it as being reviewed yet? Ah, I had clicked on a "hot new course" or whatever it's called and by error it sent me to that course.

Hey, it's rated better than my latest ... LOL But then I am surprised my latest is rated as high as it is ...

I saw this one too, almost unapproved just based on the photos, but decided to leave it just in case it was barely passing

Big Billy TX @ Lufkin GC - Not Approved.
This will be a good and tough track once the following issues are improved. Course is close, and a ton of good effort already put in, but a few more hours of effort and it's ready to go.
Issues: Sand/Rough/FW Edging issues. 90% are fine, but there's some ugly ones too. (Example holes 2, 6, 16) Water mark around the greens (Example holes 3, 10, 16) Smoothing needed in many places. 97% is fine, but some obvious misses, and some even can been seen on overhead view. (Example holes 4, 16) FW edges/slopes into trap. Too many cantilever spots. (Example holes 2, 7, +) Too many blocked view drives. 18 would look great if you could see it. Several holes FW may start just barely too far (around 245 start on a few)

No, it's not been aproved. The terrain and bunker sculpting needs a lot of work
