Cabot Trails, Nova Scotia - Not Approved This is unfortunately just an autogen course thats been made worse by adding a few bunkers and trees in weird spots. Could you perhaps go into more detail on things I could improve on in the course. I didn’t feel as though I left this course auto genned I shaped a majority of it with the sculpting tool. I’m just trying to become a better course maker in general so any info on things to improve helps! These videos from Crazy Canuck is a good start: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMfOamKMuHDuC9B69-29kORMJ4jacde0PWatch from the first video onwards. Design as you go along. Realize that 6-8 weeks of work isn't uncommon for a course. Be a part of this community, ask questions, learn stuff! Also Design League is open for all and fantastic for new designers: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/28308/design-league-season-2-contestAlso watching established designers such as Canuck, b101 and Matty when they stream their designs on Twitch is good place to learn stuff.

Did you route the course and create the hole designs or did the game do that and you sculpted some land and planted a few trees and bunkers?

I placed down the layout for every hole, did each fairway with the spline tool, placed all the greens with Spline and shapes and placed all the water and trees and everything else by hand excluding the auto generated trees here and there.

I had a quick run through the course and while it is not auto-generated, the straight fairways and lack of variety in the planting sort of give it that look. It's not a terrible course- and congrats on getting 1.2K people to play it and getting a handicapped rating! I think some more character in the fairways, some more subtle sculpting/less "ramp-like" elevation changes and more work on the planting would help a lot on your next design.

Royal St.George's 2021(L) - Not approved
Please use the port course feature on your My Designer page - I've updated the name on the original to match the new course.

Strange rules you have here these days, with it being a completely new course made with Lidar i thought it might need to have a playthrough. Whilst it may be a new build we don't need two versions in the database and yours is already in there, so it's an easy update. If it gets put on Tour, rangers would check it out more thoroughly. FYI, it's the same for everyone, I've just updated Black Salt with a number of new holes, par change etc and that gets the same treatment. We don't have time to re-review everything and whilst yours may be substantially different in terms of the data used, we'd also get people trying to resubmit a million times having flattened one tee in the hope of getting Tour Worthy. It's also extremely rare that someone would port a course and actively make it worse...

Just wondering how do you import other courses with a different name now in the database?.
Just don't want to cause any confusion with other courses of the same name.

Just post in here or message one of us to port it - if we think it's a port when reviewing, we search it, change the name in the database manually and then post in here suggesting you port it.

I have already done that, with the other course which has the same name but that one can't really be played at speeds over 155 etc now on tours, why i asked about it being a new course etc and different from last game, no worries all too much work to go through list and enter new designs I am not the most cleverest person in the world all confuses me a little with my design page and what to do.
Last thing i want for players is to play a course which says Tour Worthy and them not to enjoy it,Again many thanks for your help explaining things enjoy the golf and tours.

When you produce an updated version of a course, to save reviewers reviewing it again and to prevent database clutter, just go to your My Designer page on the main TGCTours site and select the course you want to update and choose port course. If there is a name change needed, post in here. I’ve already updated the name on this submission to reflect the new course. Now, whenever anyone searches or schedules Royal St George’s for TGCTours, they will only find the newest version.

Greystone Ranch..Not Approved This only has 3 pinsets...4 required. I was wondering since I got an email saying approved, and showing approved on the course listing, then got an email saying not approved about 30 min later. If I add a 4th pin set and republish, will it be approved? Ty
