Hey guys, I decided that I'm going to do Q-School on Monday. I just want to make sure that all I have to do is go to the CC course being played that week and play it. I should already be registered, right?
You are correct, play the 4 rounds by the end of the week. Some weeks are tougher than others, so play all four rounds. Even if R1 or R2 is bad, you never know, plus it is good practice under qualifying conditions.
Good luck!

Thanks. All set. Not expecting much but will give it the old college try.

Could somebody explain the ball packs? I've been using the default. If I purchase a pack, is it permanent? What does 3x, 6x mean. Is that the number of rounds it's good for? If these packs aren't permanent like the fittings, IMO, they're worthless.
So what's the deal with them?

They are consumable - one ball lasts one round and can be used in all game modes except for those societies that chose to lock them out. Just ignore them.

How do I go back to the default? They can be useful for ranked rounds. Some give you distance and less roll, so nice for attacking pins.
You don't "have" to switch back - when you play TGC it will automatically select the default ball. If you want to go back (which will happen when you run out of special balls) go back to your bag, select the ball and select the type - you want default.

Hey, doesn't the new week start on Sunday? If so, can't I start my Q-School rounds today?

How come, after I get a fitting, I have no fittings available for exchange or upgrade? I have 5 fittings that are totally worthless to me that I'm not using but no matter which one I pick, I don't get 3 in order to upgrade. At most I get are 2.
Why?

You have to keep collecting them and then you can either: - upgrade 3 of the same colour when you get them to a random fitting of the next grade up. - exchange 3 of the same colour for a specified fitting of the same colour. So you can specify Iron - Grip - Power, for example. This is really only useful when you have loads of purples or reds. When you are starting out, just keep collecting them and upgrading (but being careful not to upgrade ones you are using). Cheers.

So I guess with common, uncommon, rare, elite and legendary, you can have 10 of these and still not have enough of them to do an exchange or upgrade. Got it. Thanks.

Just keep collecting those lesser ones. Don't waste your vc fitting them. Every time you get 3 the same, upgrade. Once you get to the purples and reds they're worth fitting, unless it's not the attributes you want. It's a very gradual process, I'm still not completely fitted with reds that I want. Have a strategy. Depending what archetype you've chosen go for certain types of fitting. I play the Sculptor, so my fittings are all about timing, transition and swing plane.

This game gives out the legendary fittings with an eye dropper. What I don't get is why they'd give you a driver lie fitting. They are totally useless.

Well, you can play driver off the deck and they have other attribute boosts, but yes generally that's one you'd use to swap for something you want.
