We have a decent mix of people from lots of different countries and regions. I thought it would be interesting to see what peoples favourite sports are to play and/or spectate.
Here are mine -
1. Football(Soccer). Newcastle United and England Fan
2. Baseball. NY Mets Fan
3. Cricket. Durham CCC and England fan
4. Golf - TGCTOURS fan and all UK golfers
5. Motor Sport - F1, Isle of Man TT, Indy
6. Cycling - Tour-de-France in particular
6. Rugby Union - Newcastle Falcons and England Fan
7. Tennis - Andy Murray
8. Track and Field
9. Rugby League
10. American Football
I only play football and golf now but not good at either.
I was going to put darts down as I'm a big fan of watching the World Championships but I'm not sure it can count as a sport.

Football (the proper one) - Norwich City season ticket holder Golf - don't follow anyone in particular I just enjoy watching and following and playing! I wasn't aware there were any other sports that existed that are worth Mentioning?!  |

I just noticed I said top 5 sports and then listed 10!!! You can see I like sport.
I'm a Newcastle season ticket holder, good luck next season back in the Premier League. Shame it's a bit of a long away game to go to. I've not made it down there yet.

I've not made it down there yet. came up to St James Park twice back in 2004 when we played you twice away in 8 days losing 2-1 in 3rd round of League Cup and drew 2-2 in the league! Couple of good but long away days! We have virtually the same squad that we came down with 2 years ago as only sold one player! So if we add to it well with better management we should hopefully be ok! |

Wow, twice in 8 days, that's dedication! It's a shame the away fans get put up in the gods.
Hopefully the experience will help you. I know when we got relegated and promoted a few years ago it gave the club a new lease of life. Unfortunately it didn't last long!

Being an all round gambler I watch all sports apart from American football, baseball Nascar etc etc. Only American sport I get involved in is basketball.
1. Golf, I'm a fan of many golfers and bet on both tours weekly.
2. Football, man utd fan but hardly bet football anymore.
3. Basketball, Atlanta Hawks fan and dabble now and then in the markets.
4. Snooker, great for a bet tournament wise, big fan of Judd Trump, Ronnie and Ding.
5. WRC, the best motorsport going IMO, was a big fan of Marcus Gronholm back in the day.

1) American Football - OHIO STATE BABY!
2) Golf - I have a man crush on Jordan Spieth now... Just so much to like about this kid
3) Baseball - I used to be a Pirates fan...now? Now I just hate the braves but pretty much watch because I like the sport
4) Soccer/Football - Played through college...no good though. Just enjoy the sport. I remember playing with the guys from an MLS squad one time and having Carlos Valdarama show up. That guy...he could put a pass on a dime from anywhere... And his hair is legend.
5) Hockey - Full disclosure...I can only watch this on TV when the playoffs roll around but going to a Hockey game in person is just THE BEST thing ever.

I'm from the USA... Feels lonely in here. HA! You should all be awake by now  It always amazes me how big State/College sport is in the USA. It's nothing like that in the UK. So why did you stop being a pirates fan and now hate the braves so much? The pirates have been decent for a while. I watched the Mets in the playoffs when I was on holiday in Vegas and driving up the west coast in 2006. The Mets have been pretty awful ever since although it's looking a bit better this year. The teams I support always do badly apart from Durham, my local Cricket team. I live about 4 miles from the ground/stadium where they play. That's pretty cool about Valdarama. He was a star in the 94 World Cup and had hair like side show bob. |

I was a pirates fan in the early 90s...then the strike happened in 94 and I kind of just fell away from the sport for a bit. When I came back to it I really found I just liked baseball and would watch just about anyone that was playing. As for the braves...they broke my little pirate heart a few too many times in those years...BURN BRAVES!! BURN TO THE GROUND!
