Hopefully we see you back soon in the sim societies. You are one of the top honest guys out there. Thanks hammers i just say what i see...i kinda lost interest in the game..just started playing a bit again..not sure i will be back in sim as you are on discord now..i don't do social media in any form. The discord is pretty much like the forum it’s not particularly personal or anything. Not forcing the issue obviously but if you want in fire hammers or me a message 👍

If we never get another 2 k game.Than I’m keeping fingers crossed another company will have a fun/ competitive offline mode that plays at your level.Or can be adjusted that way And also allow you to use created user courses in your season In the meantime.Would TGC find it more beneficial for all of all their events were private groups.Where you enter by being approved to play in that division? That may make many feel more comfortable playing.Heck, I have open spots on my create a society page.Be more than happy to donate a few of them.I don’t think anyone from the CC groupings would be shooting as low as the upper tier guys that play the CC events.Or would this be too time consuming ? Maybe (if another 2k) is released. They will enhance their society events to allow for private groups of this magnitude and influx And I tried my first tgc event in a long time.Came up 5 shots of missing the cut in CC -E. But almost made it.That is the closest I’ve gotten in 2k23.Almost

I agreed with you 100% — then I found that wo b killin guy’s stream. And he really shot the score that’s posted. And he even left a few 5 footers on the green out there. It was nuts. Now, if he’s got some control mod on, I don’t know. But it was legit. Here is his twitch with all four rounds.

I end up 10yard from the flag...if not direct in water, on PC and PS dual sense gamepad, if I want to have hope of birdie, I have to make perfect with blue line inside the white, I have I also tried razor wolvering, but it didn't improve my terrible swing sorry for my poor English language, google translate

As someone who only plays legend swing difficulty for quite some time now, I am seeing some really poor swinglines here that are not being punished at all. Is master difficulty really that forgiving, tbh I am glad I don't touch master anymore if so. Also I can see why scores are so low on grids with more realistic green slopes. Putting within 20 foot looks much easier than it should be. Birdie and Eagle on every hole is not my idea of a fun golf game, like playing the computer on a football game set to easy and winning every game 8 to 10 nil. Each to their own I suppose.

Crossplay leaderboards/scores have no value when mixed together, playing on Xbox, PS and PC are different games

I mean, it's not that complicated - for many people, legend just isn't fun. I've played the legend societies a few times, and it just feels like I'm always grinding. Which is great, occasionally. Also like a job, occasionally.
And the reality (to me) is that whether the top-10 players end up in the -50 or -60 range any given week, or -20 to -30, it's going to be mostly the same players. They're just that good. But legend is overly punitive for the 50% of players who can't hit consistent swing plane or tempo.
It's a video game. Having fun playing it does matter. I think it's great you all have a lively set of societies that you enjoy.

But I know that on PC legend with those consistent poor swinglines it would be a different matter.

But watching a video where poor swinglines go dead straight at the target shows me that swingplane is way too forgiving on master also. That swing difficulty is pretty much focussed solely on tempo. Though I found that you could still hit crap tempo with driver and still hit middle of the fairway, driver then just feels like point and shoot. Feels too much golf on rails to me. I was thinking of playing TST again but watching that video has put me off master difficulty even more.

I’ll play Devils Advocate here tbh.
Those swing planes are intentional and its a tactic that is becoming more prevalent and seeing more success on the tours. Wo Be would have just as much success on legend with those. He’s a very very good player that has found a style of play that allows him to score incredibly well and I don’t think upping the swing difficulty would necessarily hamper that technique, or cause him to drop off at all.
I’m all for legend swing true sim in terms of it being more enjoyable for certain people but I don’t think it counteracts that particular style of playing the game much, if at all.

The difference with legend you'd have to offset your aim to the left with his swingline. There were also swings there that on legend would be 10 to 15 yards right of where he is aiming. My point about master difficulty in that video there seems zero punishment and very little dispersion with off centre swingplane. Is master really anymore difficult tee to green than pro was on 2K21?

Personally, I’d far rather a game where there’s multiple ways to swing the stick to get a ball from A to B than just being a metronome grinding for a straight up and down perfect. There’s no one perfect golf swing, after all.

I think it's great you all have a lively set of societies that you enjoy. each to there own I'll suppose if u enjoy hitting darts then happy days , pleased for all the boys that enjoy hitting 10 upto 20 under a Rd. Me personally I'm just baffled why so many peeps constantly play Rd after Rd after Rd on the same settings hitting exactly the same shot , it's soooo boring hows that fun 😂😂😂. Gotta enjoy a flop over a bunker and try and hold it near the pin . Scrambling for par and when u make it its a fist punch . Legend may not be fun for you but there's quite a lot coming over and learning and scores are improving all the time , they have said its like a new game for them. The Sanctuary cross platform society has divisions with promotions & relegations so you have your own battles with peeps around your level . End of the day like u say it's a video game play how u like 👍. I see this discussion all the time, both here and on your own discord. I suspect you (specifically you and hammersman) aren't really able to see it from a perspective outside your own. I sifted through week 1 comparisons of 2024 vs. 2025 on a handful of the CC tiers and it appears there was mostly higher participation this season than last. Apparently, a large contingent of players still enjoy the competition on Master swing level. "it's soooo boring hows that fun"? Well, maybe it's not for you. So you play Legend. I think that's great. I'll probably dip my toe in from time to time when my tempo is somewhat under control.

I tried a round with Legend this morning. Difficulty went from 2.06 to 2.13. Played with green grids and zone cam on same as with usual Master rounds. I felt the need to be a little tighter and a few shots I might have gotten away with were punished not severely but found the bunker instead of the fringe that kind of thing. Swing was fairly tight never perfect usually never is. The round was actually more fun. Still able to get a slight pull swing line and slight slow tempo to go straight.
