Did you both carry on past the first tee? I'm just playing round 1 on the Euro now, same winds as Jules, but on one hole, the wind was saying one direction, but switched 180 degrees once I'd hit my shot.
Maybe a bug, but the winds are still going in the same direction for all?

Turned W now - so it's basically "swirling". Pretty brutal, so good luck playing it this round!

This is fantastic. I have played every event without waiting and finished off some rounds with 20 mph winds. I'm sure a few people are going to struggle for a while to get used to this but at last it's a fair playing field. Gonna start my round in an hour (web, com) so I'll post mine once I'm finished,

Round 1 of the Euro finished, and I'm glad to be back in the clubhouse! Winds were a solid 15-16 all the way round, but swirled anywhere from NE round to W. Mainly at N-NW though.

Played all 4 Euro rounds - wind was in roughly the same direction for all 4 (I wonder if it's set like this to make sure everyone is the same?).
First round as previously described, second 2-3 mph. Third 14-15mph. Fourth 13-14mph.
Good luck everybody, those are tough winds!

I started round one of euro and played 2 holes and wind speed i think would be same for everyone but it was obvious that 2 of the ghosts had a tail wind where me and another ghost had a head wind. at 16mph that is a lot of difference as second hole par 5 the 2 that had a tail wind made the green in 2 and me and the other ghost were left well short of the green

This looks good.
I think in the interest of fairness that the wind should remain in the same direction, for longer, but wind obviously moves in the real world.
I also agree with Doyley is that there could be more range. You never have a wind constantly blowing 17mph. It might be that hot for 30 second, but then drop to maybe 5mph, then gust back up. So would be good if they could adjust that in future patches.
Looks promising!

You're right that wind changes direction but it very rarely goes from north to south in the blink of an eye like i've witnessed on some of the videos.
