After playing 2 rds of Pebble in a Legend sim society, I'm concerned the move to Legend will drastically reduce participation in TST. I know I'm not the target audience (casual/CC), but there's no way I'm playing 4 rds with those gimmicky pins. Just to damn frustrating. Not too sure I understand how the gimmicky pins at a specific course, Pebble in this case, reflect on how Legend would play on different courses... Anyway, if and when pins are gimmicky at courses that we still want to use for TST, I will make sure to adjust conditions to make them as playable as possible - this is something I've always done and will not change now that we are moving to Legend. In fact, I'll likely try to be a bit more careful if I can, to compensate for putting being slightly trickier.

Pretty unplayable on 155 and above so you would have to tone down green speed.I actually haven't played the 2K Pebble or the one that Simulation Tour is playing this week. The problem is the downhill rollout is just too extreme in the game which makes even some realistic pin placements frustrating. Like you say Frans, suspect pin placement has nothing to do with swing difficulty. Dodgy pins will be dodgy pins on master swing difficulty also. So 4 round tournaments every pin needs to be tested. I have confidence we will see very good course set ups on TST for season 10.

I think it's worth saying for you guys on the fence or a little hesitant btw. In TAN and Legend Tour I've seen far more surprising results and people punching above their weight (based on TGC division) than in any other societies bar none. I really do think you'll be surprised just how much the added uncertainty of legend opens the field up and rewards smart golf. As I say, really do give it a go and play as smart as possible and you'll surprise yourself.

Just sharing to show you guys what I mean about playing smart on legend if you have a little time to watch. My swingplane is nowhere near automatically straight and I constantly fight it. I think that's why I don't adapt as well to the grid side as I can't be as precise. But on legend True Sim I can kind of make up for that with good course management and thinking my way around. Doesn't take much more time and doesn't demand perfection, far from it. Anyway, conscious I post a load of nonsense in here so will take a step back until were posting about our rounds from Sunday I hope it goes well. Buzzing and I know longpole is as well. *Obviously not trying to self-promote or anything I only stream occasionally for fun. Just wanting to show off the settings really. And The Legend Tour is a nice (two round per week) society to get practice in alongside TST if anyone is interested at all.

I went back and watched your whole 2 rounds and you scored well because your approach play was good and you putted really well and had a very nice scrambling game to boot, you played superbly. I honestly think those on TST that use vibration are seriously missing out on what I think is the best short game implementation of any video golf ever made with a controller/mouse. FFS I said it many times why is vibration needed we never had this nonsense in TGC2019 and we can't even lock it off in a sim tour and believe me I made this point to the HB devs when 2K21 was released. Love this game on legend it ups sim golf to another level and the swing is not ridiculously difficult either, we now have a good challenge in the game from tee to green, and a superb short game based on feel and perception for those that don't use the vibration aid.

It needs to be changed to a difficulty setting
