It only really matters about playing all rounds if TST has a cut which I don't think they will have going forward. If there was a vote I assume most would be against a cut anyway as it takes the whole problem away of people basically taking someone's place over rounds 3 and 4 by making the cut and not finishing. By not finishing a 4 round no cut event they would only be hurting their own season's points tally over the season. Very annoying recurring problem solved

-3 -1 +3 +7 = +6 total Got very lucky early on. Rd 3 and 4 are more the norm for me at Legend. Rd 4 I struggled on the greens with distance control and some of the pin positions. With Frans leaning toward no cutline and no penalty for not finishing, I went ahead and voted for Legend. If Frans changes his mind regarding having to play all 4 rds, then I change my vote to Master w/ no aiming marker.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β It only really matters about playing all rounds if TST has a cut which I don't think they will have going forward. Wonβt let me vote not that I play full time on TST I dip in and out depending on the course your playing that week. I honestly canβt see legend difficulty making that much difference unless it makes your putting line harder to hit thatβs what I find most difficult on TST settings is the putting. Computer games are all about fun for me. If you did go full masochist settings I would still dip in and out depending on course so Iβm a Yes if it keeps some of you guys happy.

G'day, I've decided to give TST a go after having a couple of years hiatus. Fired up the first round and thought, this is a bit harder, then I realised it was on legend. Anywho, finished with a respectable -1. Didn't think I would go under par, but I had fun in doing it. It was probably more enjoyable than hitting -10 in the regular tours.

Personally, I'm a big no on legend for any tour. I've played with it and it's kind of fun for the challenge yourself, but in a competitive setting, it's just another thing to be exploited. Tempo isn't the issue, but rather swing plane due to how narrow it becomes, it's not impossible to hit, but very very difficult and it will more than likely become meta for people to just not even try to hit it straight, but just play for a side intentionally. Master still has the balance to be able to hit both plane and tempo consistently.

It is a golfswing it is not about hitting it dead straight but trying to be consistent with repeating your swing. It is just as difficult to hit the same in to out or out to in swingplane consistently as hitting a dead straight line. The fact that swingplane is difficult makes it tougher to repeat the same golf swing and for those looking for more of a challenge that's a great thing surely. The game shouldn't just be all about tempo. Legend in this game feels much more like TGC 2 but with more difficult tempo than that game.

If anyone is interested in some legend difficulty sim practice give Tough As Nails (Legend Sim) a try. The society is handicapped so it is competitive throughout the whole field. It is run by 2 guys that average 5 and 6 over par that want a more realistic game and love that challenge. It is a good way to ease yourself into these settings as the courses are not set up to be difficult and they don't always use the back tees. At the moment it is 1 round over 2 days events.

Not being funny isn't any game there to be exploited especially sports games online , your right it doesn't really matter about tempo but the swingplane as narrow as it is on legend makes it more realistic, with slight pushes and pulls your get 10 to 20 ft putts instead of darts or 30 40 putts like on master . More realistic and swingplane can't get exploited as much , which is a good thing . Masters is boring really especially tee to green there's no real danger for the more competitive golfers , I'm sorry for the casual golfer who struggles but either practice more, get a better controller or work your shots out better . Would love to see winning scores of around 20 under instead of the silly 40 to 50 under especially on a SEMI SIM TOUR . Which leads me to a few questions how many years ago was it discussed about having no marker and ive been around a few years and would love the actual reason for it instead of its all ready been discussed. Is it to help those with vibration would love to hear the official answer to it, cheers . Will there be a chance nxt season then to put a vote out to decide about the marker so we get a true sim tour . I wonder if people will know how I would vote π³ π€ π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£

I think zcolbster is saying that the tougher swingplane would theoretically encourage people to just aim left or right and push/ pull intentionally rather than play for a straight shot as it would be more repeatable. I guess the same could be said for master though but it's a fair point imo. longpole I've posted so much nonsense on here for years I'm sure someone must have told me why no-marker is strictly off-limits. Unfortunately I'm also an idiot with the memory of a goldfish so if I have been told I've long since forgotten π€£

Finished up -30. Couldn't wait and spread them out and lost a bit of concentration on round four that led to a couple of silly bogies from simple up and downs. Not surprisingly I think it plays absolutely fine and I thought that was a nice course to test it on for the majority. Lots of birdie chances and very little heavy rough around fairways. Will be keen to see how everyone gets on For some reason my score in this one got posted on the site but my special events score hasn't registered (yet). Not sure what's up there...

By the way mate thx for telling me your score you know how much I love to know it π ππ€£ I think you could do it in such a way as to effectively rule out one miss. Maybe not precisely everytime but you could essentially aim left side of the green and push right on the downswing which for all intents and purposes guarantees a green hit and probably quite tight. Assuming you get a decent tempo As I say though, you could do this on master (or any difficulty) but I think zcolbster is saying that because it's harder to repeat the straight line on legend it becomes more tempting to play that way. For what it's worth I agree with you in that people will sit down and work out a meta anyway regardless of settings or difficulty and I think even if people did pursue that playstyle there's enough challenge elsewhere on legend to still justify it as a more difficult experience (if that's the intent of considering the move). Have to put some pressure on with my score π€£ it's my first finish on TST in a long time. Was a nostalgic Sunday that blasting my rounds out

The beauty of legend is both swingplane and tempo are challenging. Legend brings in more skill to shot execution for swingplane and timing. Tbh a large portion of the player on TGCTours are very too good to be playing master which let's face it for full swing shots it is not really much harder than pro swing difficulty on 2K21
