Easy fix: Starting NEXT season, anyone wishing to play on tours is required to fork over $10 USD, bare minimum. If you don't pay, you don't play. There's your $15,000 if not more. I think something like this needs more consideration. I doubt that even $15 per season would scare anyone off. Just a respectful response and stance that firmly believes that $10 per person is more than fair. We all know many others will donate more, but that should be their personal choice. The key though is that it needs to be implemented as a requirement.

Subscription model is slightly more complicated unfortunately. Not currently in the plans. Doyley there was talk a season or so ago about the possibility of gaining some sponsorship, has that ever been pursued?

I could see a few donation entry open tournaments helping the cause. Preseason? Any excess to charity

Why can't HB Studios and or 2K sponsor the tour monetarily? Since TGC Tours is a very important part of this franchise and without TGC Tours many would not be playing. Either way please support TGC Tours.

DoyleyJust in case players don't come to the forum... Any objections to me putting a gentle Donation reminder in the TGC society pages on PS in the chat box? I could do CC and Kinetic. Cheers.

I'll hold my hands up and say I'm one of the freeloaders that's been here for years and taken it for granted. Happy to throw in £10 a season from here 👍

Season Ticket holder despite living 180 miles away and likely to miss a lot of games. But I want us to improve so I invest. Too many in life expect something for nothing in truth.

I will bait on that, my situation is a tough one, and put forth a bit last season and I am an old retired person living on a pension, yet I hate to see this discontinue, so I will throw in 120, which is 10 per month. And yes it should be mandatory.

one fee per season, like in real life, in my opinion and even better than donations

Could even get the designer community involved with entry fee design contests?

I don't think a pay to play system is on the cards.

Still stand by that $10 a month, even $5 every couple of months as a voluntary donation really shouldn't be an issue for what the site offers.

Just doubled my season's donation figure and thrown another 20 dollars into the jar. Well Doyley did give Simulation Tour a try this week and though he won't admit it we all know he had a little word to 2K about those silly consumable balls 😉 I don't play any tour here but these forums do a lot for the many societies out there. We have hit over 7000 so less that 5000 to go, let's see how quickly we can hit that 12000 number.

My thinking behind it always was that 2K should really help these guys out financially when it really is one of the main draws of the game, as others have said. Thinking out loud I'm sure a lot of people have those same feelings BUT I mean yeah ideally they would, but they don't, so as Ben says I think we all kind of have to chip in and keep it running. And you're all right. What is it really if we all do it? The price of a coffee or two? Even for the likes of myself who would probably put other societies as my main focus right now... well the forum and the community help build those other societies no end. So really it's win-win. And I'll always find time for TST. Hoping to get sharp again for next season on there

The season start? well, everyone makes their own donation / fee, let's call it what you like, it's play. IMHO an annual donation of $25/30 would be fine
