It’s sad you have to buy a $150 controller to enjoy this junk of a game I assume you couldn't be bothered to check out how much the controller actually costs before posting. I paid £75 pound for the Wolverine V2, Longpole got it in a sale for £65. The chroma version you're probably referring to is overpriced in my opinion for some RGB lighting, changeble thumbstick and rear paddles but is $130 on Amazon US. So anyone on Xbox wanting a better controller for this game and in my opinion a much more responsive controller (less input lag) than any of the Microsoft official ones you are looking at about £75 or maybe even cheaper in the US. Edit: The Razer Wolverine V2 is $79 on Amazon US which is about £63. Seen as I paid £55 for a Series X controller this is actually a pretty good deal for those in the US who don't mind playing with a wired controller.

The real reason why you think you’re playing better is most quit this junk . It should’ve been aborted right after launch
It is like the oceanic sub sadly. It imploded

It is like the oceanic sub sadly. It imploded not cool... Don't expect any other comment than EA PGA Tour is the epiphany of golf games and 2K's golf games are the antichrist of golf games . What I don't understand is that if someone dislikes a game so much and doesn't play it why be still here on a PGA Tour 2K23 competitive site still posting away.

I thought I’d add my experience to the others here….. I have been playing on an old xbox one and elite controller and had managed to get up to CC-H with the typical xbox timing issues, basically I had to hit a “perfect” to land an approach shot. I only ever experience one grey fast / slow outcome which was so far away from perfect that it usually resulted in a missed green. My typical GIR was 50 – 60%, however I had a very good swing line and my putting saved many a round. I've updated to a series X and treated myself to a new controller, on Monday of last week the wired Wolverine V2 arrived. I calibrated and jumped straight into the We-Ko-Pa Challenge at Te Maori with the new controller. My experience was exactly as described by Demonondalinks - many more “good” timing outcomes but a more sensitive swing line. I had my first top ten finish, my best ever round (58) and a GIR for the tournament of 83%, including a 100% in the final round. This week has been completely insane, every round under 60 and a GIR of 93%. I’m currently in 1st, 15 shots ahead of 2nd and 22 ahead of the closest person with a round left to play!!!! from how you talk about it...it looks like a magical item, which transforms a player from challenge to elite, my timing is bad...can it be transformed by this gamepad? I use DS5 on PC, I can shoot -14...but also -4 -5 on the same day...which is equivalent to losing all the advantage scored in the previous round...

Game plays great.

Ok I certainly haven't given this controller enough time. Been trying it out for a couple of hours today after calibration. I am playing legend difficulty and I can't remember so many perfect tempo results even on master difficulty. So it really suits my game tempo wise and I like hitting the stick forward quicker than I do with the DS5. I actually don't find the stick sensitivity too bad but I I have a recurring backswing in the 7 o clock position and quite alot of 1 o clock forward swings, if I can work on that swingplane that results in a pushed shot or pushed putt this controller can really improve my game. I haven't tried it on master difficulty yet, I will definitely be sticking with it (no pun intended) ,so I am convert because of this thread. So a big thanks Demonondalinks for starting this thread from a PC player

It is transformative from an Xbox perspective and it is night and day better than an official Xbox controller on PC for this game also, well any game really from my experience. The DS5 is a great controller so it is not a leap above that but my tempo is better with the Razer controller from just a few hours of using it. Will it be better for you? the thing is you'll never know till you try using it.

When I have a straight or left line I pay for it. 😁 And I am glad you like the Wolverine.

Personally I have never thought to check mine, I play over wi-fi as my router is downstairs and have a good experience of the game playing online. I do play at pretty high framerates (over 100fps) so that reduces latency quite a bit.
