I'm curious, I used on PC in order: xbox360 wireless, steam controller wireless and cable, Xbox series S cable and wireless, xbox one C/W, Elite 2 C/W, PS4 gamepad C and finally DS PS5 cable... the only one that gives me some results, but I have to touch the stick...like a crystal feather, otherwise the ball ends up in the next fairway, I passed into TGC Elite... but I'm absolutely not able to be competitive even with the DS, I'll wait Yeah the DS 5 is pretty quick for tempo so you really need to slow it down compared to XBox controllers. I'll let you know how the Razer Wolverine V2 compares tempo wise. Great to see you on USE society at last , played with your turn based ghost in round 1 and we both finish on the same score, a good old battle there. I recorded my rounds this week so will post them up tomorrow in the USE forum. yes, I like the master level you set, unfortunately putting true sim on 2K23 is a real nightmare for me, with 2K21 I was able to read the greens better...IMHO the graphics on the greens are better on 21. But it's still very nice playing true sim...even if it makes me very angry

Nice one Todd im gonna assign you as my number 1 recruitment officer for Sanctuary 🤪 your course is up by the way on the red tees But honestly the way peeps are hitting good scores now with the razor I'm gonna creep the course Conditions up a wee bit . Berty just recalibrate as it is until u get tiny fasts and slows but u will have too swing a little faster then the stock . And Paul you love this thread and will be interesting how u handle the razor on PC will it be the same who knows , but if it doesn't wrap it up nicely and take it back and say sorry I thought it was wireless . 😉 Wait, what it's not wireless Neil . Not really a problem when you sit 3 foot away from your TV/PC How long is the cable as my DS 5 cable is a little short actually to where my PC is set up? 10 feet

Is this controller worth it? Kind of a bargain buyer but getting more involved in the game I’m struggling with Xbox controllers

Is this controller worth it? Kind of a bargain buyer but getting more involved in the game I’m struggling with Xbox controllers It won't turn you from a D player to a A player, but it will improve your game and enjoyment for sure, given you get used to the controller. It's different but there's more tempo outcomes and while I feel it's worse regarding swing plane, the ability to get perfects or (what I want) a slightly gray fast is much more possible. I was ready to return mine one week in but I stuck it out and figured out the adjustments I needed to make when compared to the stock Xbox controller I was using. It is worth it but you need to give it some time and play rounds.

I’d love to even think about considering myself a D player 😂 I enjoy the game. But the inconsistencies are really frustrating. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve recalibrated thinking it was me changing my swing. But after reading more of the ins and outs of polling points it makes more sense.

Wow the Razer's right stick is really sensitive, much more so than the Dual Sense 5 or Dual Shock 4. Not sure if it will suit my game as my main weakness is swing path not tempo. I am going to keep it as I have just been playing Jedi survivor with it and it is a really good controller, much better feel than the Series X controller. Also my mouse and keyboard are razer so keep it in the peripheral family . Just looked online at the Pro version which is wireless. Wow £250 for a controller is pretty steep.

If you are not bothered about RGB lighting on a controller it is £75 on Amazon UK probably even cheaper in the US.

Yes, swing plane is its weakness, but practice and a lot of concentration when hitting the ball helps a lot. I think the huge gain in tempo versus the stock controller is worth this swing plane weakness.

I think the huge gain in tempo versus the stock controller is worth this swing plane weakness. In a way it's the controller's strength as it is more accurate than the Xbox controllers so stick accuracy can also come from a higher polling rate than official Xbox controllers. I think they are maybe a bit too easy to hit straight line because of the lower polling rate , good to have a bit of challenge with push and pull shots and more accurate tempo. The controller is a win for Xbox, but personally the DS5 is much more suited to my game. Just played a round on TAN Legend Sim put shot feedback back on for the round for a change. My tempo and swing path are pretty good atm and they need to be as legend is quite punishing for even small misses.

I bought this Wolverine on Berty’s recommendation and an hour in I wanted to throw the new controller , the TV and Berty into the dustbin !!
However, I’ve read the thread and am determined to give it a good go.
What adjustments have people made to make it work for them ? I have calibrated 4 times and every swing is still a bit slow …

I have calibrated 4 times and every swing is still a bit slow … Don't worry about perfects, I get one once every 1000 swings. If it's right on edge of a perfect and fast or slow fairly consistently you should be fine and stop calibraiting. Now it's time to just play and improve your scoring. And you will improve. You will get closer to pin therefore easier putting. I am playing a lot more now and scores keep getting lower and lower. Join The Big Money and you will know who is or isn't using the Wolverine. Even the other Rhino is improving.

I think Demonondalinks post above describes this controller precisely. I am using it just a week and while it takes a little getting used to the results are pretty much as he describes. The biggest thing I have noticed is that very fast or very slow that I used to get during every round I now rarely get. I find that the putting has taken a little time to get used to, sometimes when I start my backswing on short putts it does start so I have blasted a few by. Also find that chipping is slightly different for me. Even after a week I have improved and I believe with continual practice I can reach a higher level than I would have been been able to achieve with my elite.

I thought I’d add my experience to the others here…..
I have been playing on an old xbox one and elite controller and had managed to get up to CC-H with the typical xbox timing issues, basically I had to hit a “perfect” to land an approach shot. I only ever experience one grey fast / slow outcome which was so far away from perfect that it usually resulted in a missed green. My typical GIR was 50 – 60%, however I had a very good swing line and my putting saved many a round.
I've updated to a series X and treated myself to a new controller, on Monday of last week the wired Wolverine V2 arrived. I calibrated and jumped straight into the We-Ko-Pa Challenge at Te Maori with the new controller. My experience was exactly as described by Demonondalinks - many more “good” timing outcomes but a more sensitive swing line. I had my first top ten finish, my best ever round (58) and a GIR for the tournament of 83%, including a 100% in the final round.
This week has been completely insane, every round under 60 and a GIR of 93%. I’m currently in 1st, 15 shots ahead of 2nd and 22 ahead of the closest person with a round left to play!!!!
…… and I also made this putt 😊
