I bought the Chroma Wolverine V2 a few weeks because I don't like the cable being permanently tethered to the controller and on the off chance I might get on with swingplane better with it. First thing I noticed is the sticks have a different feel to them than the non chroma version. Took me a little while but I have a much better feel to the right stick and my swing lines are night and day better with the Chroma. My tempo is very good with both, so when I get a bit more time to play I can see my long game really start to improve with the new controller. I only play legend difficulty and even if your swingplane is a little off it can be the difference between being on the green or the bunker.

I’ve just bought a PowerA Fusion Pro 3 wired controller and my swing plane is better than the Razer, I won’t be using it for the golf as I fear it might fail the API I will be using it for shooters and FIFA and saving the Razer for the golf.

I hope the R&A don’t get wind of this ‘arms race’. They’ll have to introduce a Model rule to reign in the pursuit for virtual golfing perfection. 🤣

I will say the standard Wolverine has not transformed my game but has certainly enabled me to compete well in PGA Tour. Without it I would not be teeing it up anywhere near the Big Boys.

The power A controller was known as a straight stick Less especially when golf club 19 was about that's why I was glad when they bought out the tempo . And yes the Api will get yer as I've read somewhere that it does flag up .

Surprising considering it’s essentially the same device just wireless right ??

If it’s wireless surely it’s using the same sort of signal as the original Xbox controllers at 125hz

I don’t think the chroma is wireless just it’s got a removable cord, maybe I need to look it up. If it’s wireless surely it’s using the same sort of signal as the original Xbox controllers at 125hz The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is the wireless controller but is only for Playstation and PC and is a crazily overpriced £250. It uses the Hyperspeed 2.4GHZ dongle which is much better than Xbox bluetooth or any Bluetooth for gaming wirelessly. I use this for my wireles Razer Deathadder V2 Pro mouse and Razer Blackwidow V3 Mini keyboard and you can competitively game with all these wirelessly . The Chroma version has a detachable cord which is important to me, RGB lighting, 2 different detachable thumbsticks and two paddle switches near the bottom of the controller which is great for up and down gears in driving games. I paid about £20 more than the normal price of the corded Wolverine, yes it is worth that but not the £50 it normally is when not on sale. I just wanted to mention that the feel of the sticks are very different. I just couldn't get any consistent lines on the corded Wolverine but after practice I really have consistency to my swinglines now. This is just me it might be different for others. I swing with my right thumb horizontal with the right stick.

So with the Wolverine in hand I've now made my way up to Elite as of this morning. Started in CC-G this year, nailed TGCT Promo #1 to reach Kinetic and now another solid performance in Promo #2. Never in my wildest dreams. I feel like I'm cheating. Thank you Razer, thank you Demonondalinks for creating this thread and thank you others for the discussion. Cheers

It feels like a man's controller rather then that small plastic stock controller which tbh playing more than pro difficulty is broke on xbox. I feel like I'm cheating 2 I've actually been banned from a couple of true sim society's on masters . Which has baffled me as there always complaining about there swing , the random very fast , slow BS so why don't you boys get one i ask. 🤔 OK then don't bother no worries .

It's why I love playing Legend with no grids. I score very realistically. Anything between -5 to +5 per round. It's always a test to break par and feels very satisfying when I do. Feels like I'm playing 'real' golf !!

I'm totally baffled why some of the big gun top dogs 🐕 aren't trying it. Birdie birdie birdie birdie , gets boring Come and join our legend society's blue
