This past season I was good enough with the DualSense that my good weeks were near the edge of the top 10 and my bad weeks were the edge of the cutline on Platinum. The difference between those two outcomes usually came down to whether I was having a good week with my stick mechanics. Even if the difference in controller is not always noticeable a slight improvement of like 2 strokes over 72 holes might be the difference between getting a green mark rather than a top 20 so I thought maybe it's worth the experiment, tinkering with equipment just like I would with fittings. I've never been a guy who tried to read up too much on polling points or wired vs wireless or these other things but this offseason might be a good opportunity to optimize set up. Absolutely try it out. I know a lot of guys on Xbox have had massive success by switching. I've mostly been playing the likes of TAN and Simulation Tour and I've found it helps a lot on legend compared to the stock Xbox controller just because of having twice or more polling points. But the swingplane is a lot more tough on the razer in comparison so legend is a really nice way to play with it. Definitely keep an eye out it goes on sale fairly regularly online.

I think the only version of the Wolverine V2 is the Pro version for the PlayStation which is wireless but also a whopping £250. Between the two controllers I would definitely stick with the Razer if I only played master difficulty. Master is way more forgiving for stick accuracy than legend and the Razer stick is more sensitive than the Dual Sense.I think overall the Razer is the more difficult controller on legend but I love it anyway, I actually pushed a couple of 3 foot putts recently. Don't get me wrong it plays well on Legend but I really have to concentrate on swingplane. I do love the Razer for tempo as I can even work the ball through tempo. My natural swing plane is in to out with the Razer, if I purposely play for a grey fast I get a lovely draw in the game with driver (my natural shot in real life).

Really glad I created this thread. I believe it has helped an awful lot of xboxers be competitive on tours. Thanks to all who have offered advice. This is also one of the rare threads that hasn't veered off course. 🍻

And to add further to this thread I can confirm the huge impact it has had on my game and a big thanks to Demonondalinks for bringing this to the attention of XBoxers. When I got the Razer in June I was an average CC-G player, making the cut weekly but finishing mid 20's and upwards without a top 10. Think I had spent about 19/20 weeks in G doing that after a couple of steady early season promotions. It took me a couple of weeks to see the impact. First week was 21st but then I had two top 5's and got a promotion to CC-F. Spent only 4 weeks here, couple of midfield finishes but a top 3 and a top 5 earned me saw me promoted to CC-E. First week in CC-E I was 10th, I was contention after 2 rounds but frittered it but felt I was a contender. Second week in CC-E and I won, first ever win in over 5 years of TGC ( joined March 18 ). I actually won by 5 clear shots !! Indeed my score was so good it would have actually won the flight above me CC-D. I put this all down to the Razer and the consistency it has given me. I still make the odd bad swing but guaranteed I could tell you instantaneously without any feedback that it was a crap swing. Certainly its more difficult to get the line straight but thats the only negative. So thanks thanks thanks !

One round in, lots of slows but definitely noticing some more consistency.

One round in, lots of slows but definitely noticing some more consistency. Make sure you calibrate. You won't get many perfects. However, you should get plenty of slows/fasts that are on the edge of perfect. Stick it out and you'll see big time results.

If you have never calibrated on the game you will get plenty of perfects on Xbox with the Razer. I have never touched calibration on Xbox and I hit perfect consistently, wish I could reset to stock calibration on PC also.

My 56 year old thumb needs all the help it can get.
