My wish list (Xbox user, most time spent designing, casual player) Overall - New Graphics engine (EA is so much more attractive) - Fix Xbox controllers and swing timing (I turned off timing it is so bad) - Better tour mode, closer to what EA does. - Fix water hazards and drops Designer - Turn off auto flatten (or make it a feature to turn on/off) - Add an 'elevation change' meter upon plot creation that will create larger peaks and valleys (or rolling hills) - Add an 'intermediate' rough, something between heavy and light - Add a 'combo surface' that allows two surfaces to be meshed together (think Pinehurst bunker/pine needles combo) - Pot bunkers/ stacked sod - Different types of retaining walls (stone, brick etc...) and make them less of a headache to use lol - Tall driving range fence/net - Vertical planks - Different shades of blue for water - More warn/weathered looking surfaces with imperfections/blemishes (they did end up adding a few which was nice) - More brown bunker textures (why is it so hard to include a dark brown texture?) - More tan/brown rough surfaces (only two currently) - Stop sinking the middle of bunkers (or make it a feature to turn on/off). Flat bottom bunkers would be much less time consuming that way. - Add a 'waste bunker' surface and allow both manicured and waste bunkers on the same course. I've used the cleared heavy rough for this which is ok but not ideal - More themes - More realistic fans - Better long grass rendering - When you turn long grass meter up to 100%, actually fill up close to 100% of the plot with long grass versus what it does today leaving the majority still uncovered - Somehow allow you to lay down a road with moving cars - Train tracks with moving train I'm sure I'll think of more... I like all of your requests except: "Fix Xbox controllers and swing timing (I turned off timing it is so bad)" This is a Microsoft issue - low polling rate (poor communication to console). The Razer Wolverine V2 (wired) is a much better option.

Yeah i'm just learning about this in another thread, it wasn't bad for me on 2k21 on my xbox one, but as soon as i made the switch to series x and 2k23, the swing has been horrendous. This (and EA golf) are really the only games I still play so I just want it fixed without needing to buy a controller worth an entirely new game (or 2 looking at the prices)

My wish list (Xbox user, most time spent designing, casual player) - Better tour mode, closer to what EA does. It's complete monkey crap. My two biggest gripes are:
1) Complete lack of immersion between Korn Ferry and the tour. They should have a system for promoting/demoting between tours, and a carry over of names between each. 2) Consistent leaderboard during events. I finished the first round of the Serenity yesterday with a -5, one shot behind Morikawa. Started second round today, shot a birdie on hole one. Leaderboard comes up and Morikawa is nowhere in sight, but Lexi Thompson is my playing partner for the day and somehow she's at -7 after one hole. She wasn't even sniffing the top 5 on day 1. I mean the game just throws random crap like that at the leaderboard.

Career mode in the 2K golf games has been horrible, and it's wild they still even try to keep the PGA Tour license, since what happens in the mode is nowhere near what you'd see on a normal week on Tour. The silliness that happens to scoreboards and leaderboards essentially forced me to only do one-round events back when I was still playing career, mainly just to collect the gear you get from the ridiculous sponsor and "rival" systems. Sometimes, you could see that you "won" an event on one screen, then a completely different winner is shown when you back out to the career menu. Scores jump on the leaderboards all over the place. It was even worse in 2K21, when Justin Thomas would win 90% of the events in career, coming out of nowhere to leapfrog anyone at the top. Cover athlete advantage, I guess. I am so very glad they included LPGA pros in the game, but having them play a full PGA Tour schedule, including in the "majors" and FedExCup/Tour Championship is nonsensical. Shockingly bad implementation that is totally lacking immersion.

Massive outlays for a character model no one will ever use and a mode that’s half (quarter?) baked. So stupid.

How about “The Golf Game 2025”
Save on the Tiger and PGA name.

There seems to be a very good Unity engine floating around out there. I'm sure you've seen what it can do. Dump Tiger and PGA makes a lot of sense.

I want to support the game but I don't know what they can do that would make me buy the next game.

I have never really understood why, when they have so many of the PGA Tour pros represented in the game, they are so sorely underutilised. I for one would have found the career mode much more interesting if I could have played a round with one of the pros. I never wanted to play as one of them, just with them.

Tbh I have never ever found any single player golf game remotely engaging. When you play against real people or turned based ghosts an artificial leaderboard or avatar is a huge step down. Might of been a time in the past I might of had an interest in single player careers but online play is so much better no matter how immersive they try to make solo play. For the record every other video game I play is not online.

For the record every other video game I play is not online. I still try to find enjoyment in playing a "real" season or schedule in sports games. EA PGA at least has the real majors and actual sponsorship challenges, which provide more immersion than playing in the "Northwest Open" or "Legends Championship" and being Rickie Fowler's "rival" for one week, and then Bubba Watson's the next. EA obviously has issues, but the single player experience is at least more engaging. I do totally see your point with playing against actual players and leaderboards made up of real-life opponents vs. AI scores.

The AI was shite in that game and how anyone found it enjoyable playing against them is beyond me, 2 foot missed putts etc, so f'ing slow to hit their shots ffs. Tbh EA's career mode was better than 2K's but 2Ks career mode is sh%$ so not hard to beat.
