More brown fairway and rough textures. We need lots of these. Enough green! A burnt out fairway texture with a high level Of surface variation would be amazing. That color green they use on that course down in Georgia comes off so video gamey I don't understand why anyone would use it in their designs. Pea green 🤢

I've been watching TopSpin 2K25 videos and such recently, and would really like to see that game's career mode inspire some updates to PGA 2K25's career mode.
Stamina, injuries, travel, coaches...all these things would be nice to have in PGA, too. Scrap the essentially useless "Rivals" system and make the single player career feel more immersive.

Let us move the ball on the tee Fix the wrist position. Have rough swallow up the ball Have replays off when I turn them off Slow green speeds down a hair Fix the crowds Excellent career mode More assets for the designers Do something with the file size so designers could do as much as they want with trees plantings etc.
I like the current state of the game though a few improvements couldn't hurt. I have enough clothes clubs etc.

I'd love for a more immersive career mode also. If I am being challenged by players in the Korn Ferry tour, it should take much for them to get promoted into the PGA right along with me and allowing me to cultivate a rivalry with them on the main tour. I'd also like to see the names given more weight in the game when they excel IRL. I have seen Scheffler on the leaderboard once in the game.

Wondering if the PGA will be in the game anymore along with TW. I would have thought they would have implemented his new brand into the 2k23 by now. As long as the designer is still in the game I am fine with whatever comes out.

As long as the designer is still in the game I am fine with whatever comes out. Tiger Woods' deal with 2K is a "long-term, exclusive" deal, so he's probably not going anywhere and will be a part of the series for several versions of the game. And it seemed they really stopped working on new content adds to 2K23 following the launch of the last Clubhouse Pass in January, which was literally a rehash of previous items in previous passes and is set to continue being the last pass in 2K23 until 2030. Since Sun Day Red wasn't released until February, it's likely just a matter of the devs no longer working on 2K23 as to why that brand isn't in the game. And I'd imagine as long as Tiger's a part of the game, the PGA Tour will be, as well.

Career mode is a snooze fest, fittings are a joke, i have enough golfballs to fill my house , some areas need a complete overhaul. Tempo needs a serious tweak, wind doesn't work completely especially with a slow swing.New courses would be nice.

I had a thought about the swing mechanics and upgrades - what if instead of getting a fitting that allows you to hit the ball 10 yards further (for example), the golf bag could be customised similarly to a real golf club. As a very simplistinc example you could get cavity back irons which can more accurate (lower dispersion) but don't fly as far or spin as much. Or you could get blades which are longer and more spinny but much more deviation on a miss-timed shot. Or maybe shafts would be categorised by flex where a higher flex club will require a slower swing tempo and a stiffer shaft will require a faster tempo - then instead of going throught the calibration you could either select a shaft that suits your natural tempo, or you could get adjust your tempo to that required of the shaft. Obviousl it would require balancing and would require devs who actually know what golf is, so I don't expect it to happen, but it would be cool.
Also I thinh the "perfect" tempo should be removed and dispersion / deviation is based on how far off the "perfect" you are - but perfect is an infentissimal point, so in reality every single shot will have some sort of dispersion but in a more fluid and continuous manner as opposed to the discrete way it happens now. Obviuously the difficulty setting would still be important for different skill levels.
It would also be cool to get some analytics around the shots you hit - heat maps for dispersion etc.

Quite a few great ones being produced weekly including great Lidar of real courses. You should check out this thread. tgctours.proboards.com/board/9/completed-courses

Unless I’m misunderstanding you.

Very few of the official courses match up to what this community puts out, so new courses really not a priority.
being able to add custom courses to career mode rosters would be a huge step forward, and an acknowledgment of the work we do. Perhaps only handicap rated courses within certain difficulty boundaries. Or if 2k and TGCT could hook up and have TW courses recognised in game and usable for matchmaking, career mode etc.

It had issues, but at least it allowed those of us who are looking for a single player experience to have it customized specifically to our liking.

I like more options with the club, choke up, choke down, feet position, ball position in stance, lie angle, etc. (like the old links ls games from the 90s/00s).
Also, I know I'm not "supposed" to be out of position on the course, but if I'm in front of a tree, I can't see me unlike IRL. Maybe make the tree translucent in that situation.
Also RNG on lost balls in wayward long grass/bushes with 0 - 10% chance of hitting it out when "found".

Gotta think that 2K25 is in that group of 22.
